It's supposed to be 45 today and sunny, and it's supposed to stay nice all into next week just getting warmer each day.
Maybe Spring will actually be here finally.
It is snowing hard right now in MA

Just got off the phone with my bro in Chicago area, sun is shining, he's like, "I don't feel 60something today, for the first time in a week."
He and his wife have property down in Tampa, they planned on retiring down there 10 years ago, but their son's surgeries changed those plans. Now looking at 2 years or so from now. They have a second home in Chicago area for summer and holidays, but feel they do want much warmer for the winters.

Yeah after my initial double blizzards melt down, I gave it much thought. I have such a perfect place here and have done so much work on the place so far, it would be extremely difficult to just sell it and walk away now. I think I'm going back to the idea of buying a nice sized camper trailer with a bathroom and even a little washer/dryer setup, and pull that down south for a months each winter. That is, after all, one of the big reasons why I bought such a heavy duty, newer P/U truck.

There were places in Wisconsin that got over 30 inches. We probably got 8 inches here.
Heard this morning on the local morning news show that this is the snowiest April in history for our state, and so far, the second coldest.
I hope that shit is finally over. It's real nice out right now, much warmer and the sun is shining. The snow has already started to melt in earnest.

I'll have to correct myself... last night on the local ch.15 news from Madison, the weather guy said it was the SECOND snowiest April on record, not the first. Back in 1973, the year I graduated high school, we had more snow in April. I don't remember it but, that's a good thing... ;)
