An American photojournalist who escaped from al Qaeda in Syria is accusing the Obama-era FBI of “betrayal.”
Matt Schrier was taken by the terror group in 2012 and escaped one year later.
During a recent interview, the 39-year-old said the terrorists tortured him, and used his money (http://www.oann.com/american-who-escaped-al-qaeda-slams-fbi-for-failing-to-help-him/#) to buy dozens of computers and tablets.
Schrier is accusing the FBI — which was being led by Robert Mueller and James Comey at the time — of failing to help him, while they monitored his bank accounts in hopes of tracking al Qaeda’s future plots.
He said the FBI put intelligence gathering over his security, and he’s now demanding answers.
The FBI said it can’t comment as the investigation is ongoing.

Want to bet this story never gets any traction with the leftwingnut news corps? Kind of convenient the FBI can't comment on an ongoing investigation years later when this guy's part is obviously done.
I often wonder just where is the line drawn where it is and isn't okay to facilitate criminals just to try and get "one step closer" to the top of the ladder.
