I can't believe he lived so many decades with ALS aka Lou Gehrig's Disease. It's amazing, and also kinda sad that he had to endure such a life, with such a gifted mind. The man was literally brilliant, surpassed by none that I can think of. It may not have all been my cup of tea of research, but simply amazing when you see such intelligence in action. That the man took the disease, hit it head on and still kicked this world's ass, just amazing.

RIP Mr. Hawking. You are a free man now. You left a legacy for your children and the entire world. God Bless.

Yes...RIP Mr. Hawking and now ....you will finally meet God (since you prayed to him in your final days) and can ask him about `dat` "Global warming (climate "change") stuff and get your new mind right. :)
