The UK demand for Russia to credibly explain itself has come and gone. Russia has simply ignored it. The Russian line is that we must supply a sample to them of the nerve agent used in the Salisbury assassination attempt first ....
... this stance running simultaneously with one emanating out of the Kremlin's 'Russia Today' TV channel, which says that the agent could've been manufactured outside Russia entirely .....
The UK has nothing to gain by supplying any sample. It's surely impossible to envisage Russia getting their hands on that sample, then suddenly admitting that they WERE responsible for its deployment !! The Kremlin has already denied any responsibility. There's no hope of their having an attack of conscience and reversing that stance.
This is why Russia must be taught to stop acting like this. This will best be done by a concerted, preferably international, effort to teach the Kremlin a better sense of non-criminal conduct on the international stage.

23 diplomats expelled, and a meeting with Lavrov cancelled. They're freezing Russian state assets (not sure what that entails).
Moscow calls UK's response a theatrical demonstration and threatens reprisal. I think I read the UK relies on Russia for roughly 1% of it's trade. That ought to hurt

Note not only that Russia has no interest in cooperation, but in the process, manages derision in the responses its leadership DOES give.
It's that arrogance which fuels this poison. Both in the sense of thinking they can poison people of their choosing without fear of consequence, and the very poison of the disgusting psychology at work.
Yes, we're freezing assets, chucking diplomats out. Russia may consider these small and perhaps lame reprisals, but nonetheless, they know we're hitting back in unusually harsh terms (.. unusual for us, that is).
What will count is the scope of support we get internationally. If faced from condemnation from all sides, possibly - just possibly - they'll understand that more than 'Might Is Right' is at work, and actually counts for something.
It really depends, I suppose, on how keen they are to become a pariah State.
What do YOU think, Balu .. ? How keen are you to see Russia reviled, internationally ? Made into a power which values terrorist-type executions more than it does its capacity for a predisposition towards decency and reputability ?
High time for Russia to come clean. I won't be holding my breath on that one. But ... well, I'd like to be surprised.

I've been watching the RT, ahem, 'news' channel (that's the one that's Kremlin funded).
Their announcer came up with an interesting detail - I've only heard it from RT, so far - she said that the UK plans to provide a sample of the nerve agent used to the 'Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons'.
If true (remember who the source of this report is !) ... then, it only goes to show that the UK is standing on firm ground in its accusations against Russia. Such an international organisation will, presumably, do a proper job in adjudicating (if it's even necessary ?) exactly the extent of culpability involved.
I trust that OPCW will find in our favour. Given that they do ... what will Russia do ? Still plead so-called 'innocence', or will they go that one arrogant step further and just ignore the OPCW ?
Depends on just how much longer Russia can cling on to the morally bankrupt 'Might is Right' position they seem so proud of ...

I become ever-more astonished at Russian arrogance.
FACT --- when the chemical nerve agent was used on British soil, this itself was a threat to our country !!! Not just the intended Russian victims of this utterly DISGUSTING assassination attempt were affected by it, but in total, TWENTY ONE people were -- these including a British policeman, acting out of duty, for the betterment of our citizens.
Advice was recently released to say that anyone who'd been in the vicinity of the poisoning incident would be wise to wash clothing, for their own safety, in case traces of the agent lingered on that clothing, threatening longer-term harm to the owners.
So when any representative of Russia sounds off, it should be remembered that WE, IN THE UK, ARE VICTIMS OF AN UNLAWFUL USE OF A MILITARY GRADE, PRODUCED IN RUSSIA, CHEMICAL WEAPON.
WE did not initiate this chain of events. WE ARE THE VICTIMS OF IT.
I want the Russian side to admit culpability. I want an abject apology to be given. I want a promise that such disgusting, terrorist-nature behaviour, will never be repeated. I want those who deployed it, to face justice. What's more, I HAVE A RIGHT TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THOSE EXPECTATIONS.
Forget 'Might is Right' so-called 'justification'. What Russia has done is criminal in the extreme. Those responsible should be accordingly answerable.

Russia Today has claimed it ... so, it must be true ... yes ?
As for your video, I did watch ... a small portion of it. The first couple of minutes. That was more than enough for me. Your spokesperson is continuing with a line intended to defend Russia's criminality -- regardless of exactly how it's dressed up.

... Then this may enlighten you, Papokarlo --
Here's what I think galvanised our British Government to decide to act through the OPCW ... this, from a Russian delegate ...
https://off-guardian.org/2018/03/14/russias-statement-to-the-opcw-in-response-to-allegation-of-complicity-in-alleged-skripal-poisoning/
Mr Chairperson,
In connection with the vicious attacks launched by British officials in London, as well as the statement by the head of the British delegation to the OPCW with regard to Russia concerning the suspicious story of two persons poisoned with a toxic agent in Salisbury, we would like to state the following.
The British authorities’ unfounded accusations of Russia’s alleged involvement in using poisonous agents on their territory are absolutely unacceptable. Our British colleagues should recall that Russia and the United Kingdom are members of the OPCW which is one of the most successful and effective disarmament and non-proliferation mechanisms. We call upon them to abandon the language of ultimatums and threats and return to the legal framework of the chemical convention, which makes it possible to resolve this kind of situation.
If London does have serious reasons to suspect Russia of violating the CWC – and the statement read by distinguished Ambassador Peter Wilson indicates directly that this is so – we suggest that Britain immediately avail itself of the procedures provided for by paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the CWC ....
Considering that WE, in the UK, are the victims here (!!!) .. I find the Russian's language arrogant in the extreme. You must feel 'proud' of your man's use of language, this to a country the victim of a chemical attack !!
... Still ... that point notwithstanding; this is where, according to this separate statement, we now stand:
https://jackpineradicals.com/boards/topic/uk-to-send-sample-to-opcw-after-nerve-agent-attack-on-former-spy/
The UK’s Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has said London would submit a sample of the Novichok nerve agent used in former Russian spy’s poisoning to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), a UN body.
Speaking to the BBC news on Thursday, Johnson said the rare Soviet-made chemical weapon used against Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in the British town of Salisbury was specifically chosen to send a message to political dissenters challenging Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
“There is a reason for choosing Novichok. In its blatant Russian-ness, the nerve agent sends a signal to all who may be thinking of dissent in the intensifying repression of Putin’s Russia,” he said….
You'll note from this how well we understand the methodologies your Russian leaders employ. Just days, too, before the Russian election ?

Don't misunderstand me -- I'm not asking for any ! But I do find it 'curious' that, if Russia is 'innocent', how it is that they display such massive arrogance that to express sympathy never enters their heads. To me, this betrays the truth ... Russia IS fundamentally hostile to us.

Such is the power of political correctness as the UK knows it. Our Left wing has created such a rigid social climate that to so much as publicly openly express such a criticism will have the person demonised as a racist, or worse. To hell with commonsense. To hell, in fact, with opening your eyes and seeing for yourself exactly what's going on ....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-43320121
The leader and deputy leader of far-right group Britain First have been found guilty of religiously aggravated harassment.
Paul Golding, 36, and Jayda Fransen, 32, were arrested over the distribution of leaflets and posting of online videos during a gang-rape trial.
Fransen was convicted of three counts of religiously aggravated harassment. Golding was found guilty of one charge.
Both were jailed at Folkestone Magistrates' Court.
Fransen was handed a 36-week sentence and Golding 18 weeks.
During their trial in January, the court heard they had targeted homes and people in Kent whom they believed were connected to a rape trial at Canterbury Crown Court where three Muslim men and a teenager were convicted of rape and jailed.
The pair, both from Penge in south-east London, were arrested in May last year.
They denied a total of seven counts of harassment.
Judge Justin Barron threw out three of the charges, while Fransen was found guilty of three and Golding of one.
He told the court the pair were "well-known", "controversial" and "generate their own publicity", but his verdict was based "solely on admissible evidence heard in court".
He said their words and actions "demonstrated hostility" towards Muslims and the Muslim faith.
"I have no doubt it was their joint intention to use the facts of the case [in Canterbury] for their own political ends.
"It was a campaign to draw attention to the race, religion and immigrant background of the defendants."
Note the emphasis the court considered appropriate in highlighting the fact of Muslims being involved, in determining not only a verdict, but in assessing the sentences arrived at.
Public criticism of persons based upon religious faith is actually perceivable as a crime here.

Here's a link from the BBC. It's a very full account on this whole subject. Scroll down far enough, though, and you'll see this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43377698
Russia's UN ambassador has insisted that development work on Soviet-era nerve agents stopped in 1992, and that existing stockpiles were destroyed in 2017.
In September 2017, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed the full destruction of the 39,967 metric tons of chemical weapons possessed by Russia.
Moscow has denied any involvement in the Skripals' poisoning and demanded proof.
A former head of Russia's secret police told local media that Novichok could have been stored in any of the former Soviet states - pointing the finger at Ukraine.
A sample is to be sent to the OPCW - the independent international body set up to stop chemical warfare - for analysis.
It called the use of a chemical agent in Salisbury "extremely worrying" in a tweet, adding that "those found responsible for this must be held accountable for their actions".
Chemical weapons expert Hamish de Bretton-Gordon called for the OPCW to be allowed to visit the Russian town where he alleged the nerve agent was made.
"The only other people who could perhaps make Novichoks, if they had the blueprint to do it, would be [DSTL at] Porton Down in the UK, perhaps the US, maybe the French," he said, but added, "I have it on very good authority that Novichoks were only ever made in Shikhany in central Russia."
It's interesting.
It took several days for Russia to suggest any possibility of the Novichok agent existing anywhere else but Russia.
But, I ask: if the effort to destroy them was to have any point to it at all, how can it be that stocks were kept back on any other territory ?
I have but one conclusion to draw ... that Russia deliberately deceived the OPCW at the time of those 'total stock destructions'. In truth, not all were destroyed. In truth, the intention was to keep aside spare stocks.
If true, this shows how dangerously maverick the Russian State really is.
Doesn't it ?

I find this ex-spy being poisoned surreal, as I have posted before. I agree with polite russian's sentiment that he can't believe anyone was dumb enough to do it. Sounds like a bad spy novel. In this day and age why anyone would think they could get away with something so obvious and grade-school simple beats me.
And let's take it a step further. What does anyone have to gain from it? Revenge? An emotion-based reaction that usually backfires and requires pointless and needless risk. Taken in dispassionate terms, sifting the facts from a logical perspective, you'd have to conclude that a Russian action to chemically poison persons or an environment was thoroughly stupid. It SHOULDN'T make sense to think that they were responsible.
Unfortunately ... a mindset that gets fired up to commit political 'adventurism' of an empire building nature, such as the annexation of Crimea was, is, a mindset that is far from logical, sensible, decent, reasonable. We in the West always underrate the sheer arrogance that fuels Russian thinking. Putin wants power. He'll seize it. Why ? Because he wants it. Just that. Is he playing a dangerous game ? He doesn't much care if he is. He wants power, so he'll ruthlessly do what it takes to acquire what he wants.
Given the truth of all that, we can conclude two things:
1. Putin will always do what the hell he wants. It doesn't have to be reasonable - it just has to be wanted. That's ALL.
2. We always, in the West, underestimate Russian arrogance. Massively so. I genuinely believe we cannot conceive of just how it dominates Russian thinking.

I happily predict that RUSSIA is about to do a repeat performance of the REAGAN program that DESTROYED the Former Soviet Union.
Putin is messing with the WRONG GUY in Trump. Trump is RE-Building our Military, and PUTIN won't be able to keep up...stealing food, and services from the people....like Gorbechev did before the BERLIN WALL came down, and the Economy in USSR failed.
Putin needs to get a refresher, and see that there is NO Clinton, Bush, or Obama to fool anymore by threatening us. Trump isn't worried about OFFENDING Putin like the previous presidents did.http://stjent.pinnaclecart.com/images/products/preview/80717.jpghttps://d1ikx7rs2s8wko.cloudfront.net/store-top-bumper-stickers-5515e5a174804/uploaded/thumbnails/bumpersticker-dont-mess-with-us-u-s_55c923e86e038_746xauto-jpg-keep-ratio.jpeg?1439245288

I think Putin's a maniac. He's a permanent danger to the world at large.I think he's a danger to the world if he actually keeps pushing and crosses swords with Trump. I think because of the Cuban Missile Crisis and the end of the Cold War, Putin doesn't dare back down and like him or not, agree with it or not, Trump just won't. That's why I think Trump has officially ignored for the most part Putin's baiting.
What Putin thinks he stands to gain beats the Hell out of me. Trump's not going to back down. He may as well not have that in his list of possible outcomes. Putin is in the same position as the US, and neither leader seems willing to accept the simple fact that neither country can take on the entire world and win. I'm not sure who all Putin has pissed off, but i don't think Trump has left out anyone
While I chuckle about it, in real terms it's a dangerous game and it isn't going to take much but the wrong move even by accident to set off a powderkeg. In which case on the Muslims will win. They'll get to die for Allah.

Here's what I think galvanised our British Government to decide to act through the OPCW ... this, from a Russian delegate ...
https://off-guardian.org/2018/03/14/russias-statement-to-the-opcw-in-response-to-allegation-of-complicity-in-alleged-skripal-poisoning/
You'll note from this how well we understand the methodologies your Russian leaders employ. Just days, too, before the Russian election ?
if there is no exit then Russia sends a letter to the OPCW, we have been asking for evidence from you for two weeks, we have been asking for public discussion of this case. But Britain's got everything to hide. In this case, we ask the third-party organization, the OPCW decided our dispute. But the British never sent samples of gas "Novichok" in this organization. I will once again give this video in which we have been calling on Britain for two weeks to resolve our dispute through third-party organizations, in an open form, in the presence of the press.

Apparently Britain is positive enough to dish out some pretty harsh (for them) sanctions. Again, I doubt they would do so without something. Just not how they operate.

I have to ask you a question! how did you determine that it was Russia and Putin? because that's what you think?
I can answer that one.
Because Russia has a track record of 'activity' in the UK such as this, stretching back a considerable time.
Because of the identity of the agent used ... ONLY ever produced in Russia.
Because said agent has never been known to be produced elsewhere, or stored anywhere else but Russia.
Because it makes political sense for the likes of Putin to send Russians a warning at election time: 'don't defy me' !
Is that enough for you ? Because I call that damning evidence !!!

Therefore, a joint investigation with Russia is a total absurdity. It's incredibly arrogant of you to think it could ever be appropriate (.. and maybe just a little desperate ??).

I found one interesting post in Russian forums which I would like to translate for you to sober your brains.
If you seriously believe in what they are fed to the British with, they have already spoken to Kasus Belly, accusing Russia of using chemical combat agents in the UK. And in fact they, along with all their NATO allies, crapped instead of declaring war on Russia. So they just needed to shut up. Russia is not Yugoslavia, Iraq or Libya with Syria. Here they can get in the teeth in a way, that only feathers will fly of them. The British lion was transformed into a small squealing kitten.
Besides, Putin warned that IF any missile will is launched to Damascus it will be shot down with further destruction of ANY carrier it is launched from. And and as it was expected Americans had to swallow and shud up.

The US is in complete compliance with the law. The US is acting in support of an ally with which we have a mutual defense treaty. You should understand THAT since your President has threatened just about everyone in Syria or the West where Crimea is concerned with what all Russia's going to do should anyone attack in either place.
Try applying the same here. An attack on a NATO ally with a military grade chemical agent is an attack on the US. The US and other NATO members and the EU responded. Maybe your President should have met the UK's deadline?
Be that as it may, you need to get your aim straight. I, personally, am not making the accusation. I personally am aware of the situation based on this message board and several news sources. If "I" was responding to such a cowardly attack and had evidence in my hand of who did it, we wouldn't be "talking". I'm not a diplomat.
As I said, and before you blow a head gasket, let the investigation run its course. And I'm not sure what difference you think there is between "International Law" and the "UN", but the situation is being handled appropriately and legally.

Of course you'll deny, as many of your brethren do - but the FACT that Putin and Russia support terrorism is a FACT. Putin and others making folks "dead" and or disappear when it's election time, or debating time or something on the line time - folks die and disappear, with many poisons and other provable methods - FACT. The amount of money that is spent by citizen donations is traceable - FACT. The money that is spent via various country governments, in helping others and giving handouts, is also traceable and FACT.
So how about instead if instantly denying things - write a little and PROVE me wrong. I don't need to prove Americas's generosity, it's ALWAYS out there for the world to see and enjoy. I don't need to prove that political opponents here in America don't be dying off in mysterious deaths when a dictator needs his power. I don't need to prove to anyone that the numbers in the elections aren't legit. Having Trump win the election but lose the popular vote would have been much easier had we been able to make a few folks disappear, and fudge the numbers to where he destroyed the competition.

YOU on the other hand are just denying your ass off, making excuses, and deflecting from answering simple questions. I have not lost a minute's sleep worrying about whether or not you are right or wrong. You on the other hand act as though you're defending your basement.
Guess what? The answers will come when they come. YOUR speculation doesn't change a thing. You can speculate but demand definitive proof from message board users. Again, arguing like a Democrat. There's one standard. You don't get to hold yourself to another one or you're a hypocrite.
You really SHOULD get over yourself. 'm going to take the word of Russia over the UK when everything points to Russia and my ancestors are Scot? You really DO need to learn how to deal with people.

Putin took over the world
Trump agent PutinKeep thinking that. Since YOU brought him up, LET'S talk President Trump.
Trump is by my best guess doing his best to avoid confrontation with Putin because for once, HE is the one displaying the common sense because HE knows where it will go.
You think Putin's all that? IF he pushes Trump too far and Trump just says fuck it, it's on ... YOU better go find a place to hide. One thing about Trump, like him or don't, he doesn't play to lose. Thst is actually one of the things I DO like about him. So if you don't want to be sent scrambling with your tail between your legs back to your post-Cold War isolation, I'd suggest you get your President for Life to get some common sense.
Trump will NOT back down to Putin if Putin pushes him far enough. You need to stick that in your brain housing group, roll it around and assimilate that information and use it as a "the way it will be" working plan. Won't help you much, but it it'll give you more than that zero chance you have now.

Balu, that's very kind of you ... thank you !!!
But you overstate the case.
You simply don't understand (a) how well we understand the truth about Russian psychology, and (b) how comparatively free we are of propagandist influences here. Why ? Because .. (c) we in the West believe in a society where freedom is genuinely valued.
We KNOW that, in a true democracy, for just one candidate to get a 76 percent approval expressed as a voting percentage, especially from such a range of choices, is too improbable a phenomenon. It can only happen if the 'election' is fixed in some way. By vote rigging, or by somehow brainwashing people with an onslaught of propaganda.
Question: do Russians really understand how impoverished they are, compared to people in the West ?
It makes no sense to me that they'd overwhelmingly give voting approval to the leader, and political party, which assured they remained so !
So, the 'election' was rigged. And/or, Russians are so swamped by propaganda giving them a false picture of the wider world, that they genuinely don't know any better.
Either way, it's rigid State control which keeps them very firmly under the Kremlin's thumb.
Or is it ... jackboot ?

YES KGB... once KGB, ALWAYS KGB... and Putin was/still is in his mind, KGB...
Until he was handpicked in August by then-President Boris Yeltsin to become prime minister, Putin had never been a public figure. He spent 17 years as a mid-level agent in the Soviet KGB's foreign intelligence wing, rising only to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Later, as an aide to a prickly, controversial mayor of St. Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city and Putin's home town, he made a point of staying in the background.

America is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a democracy.
In our "Pledge of Allegiance" we say, "and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands," not, "and to the DEMOCRACY, for which it stands."
The most basic definition of democracy is "mob rule." We don't have "mob rule" in America. If we did, L.A., NYC and Chicago would be telling the rest of the nation who the president should be, EVERY TIME. Our electoral college was one of the most genius things our founding fathers ever devised.
Now Russia on the other hand doesn't have mob rule... it's PUTIN rule, period, and if you don't like it, you either disappear or are jailed.

The key difference between a democracy and a republic lies in the limits placed on government by the law, which has implications for minority rights. Both forms of government tend to use a representational system — i.e., citizens vote to elect politicians to represent their interests and form the government. In a republic, a constitution or charter of rights protects certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by the government, even if it has been elected by a majority of voters. In a "pure democracy," the majority is not restrained in this way and can impose its will on the minority.
Most modern nations are democratic republics with a constitution, which can be amended by a popularly elected government. This comparison therefore contrasts the form of government in most countries today with a theoretical construct of a "pure democracy", mainly to highlight the features of a republic.

"Anybody" cannot produce chemical weapons that are Nation-specific. They are Nation=specific because that specific nation alone produced them for their sole use as some "bigger and better" weapon. That narrows it down to ONE owner.
As yet, Russia has offered ZERO explanation as to how a Russia-specific chemical weapon could have escaped its control. Until Russia does so, there is no other logical conclusion to come to other than it was used by Russia.

If you were correct .. then the OPCW's findings would be meaningless. Yet, the world thinks otherwise.
How come ?
Here's the point, I think. Chemical analyses break down the proportions of constituent substances within a material. It may well be that this agent will so precisely match the record the OPCW has for the analysis they have of known Russian samples, that an alternative origin for this latest one is simply ... impossible.

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/investigators-from-chemical-weapons-watchdog-to-arrive-in-uk
Independent technical experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will arrive in the UK tomorrow to kick off their investigation into the nerve agent used in the attempted assassinations of Mr Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury on 4 March.
The team from The Hague will meet with officials from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and the police to discuss the process for collecting samples, including environmental ones.
These will then be despatched to highly reputable international laboratories selected by the OPCW for testing with results expected to take a minimum of 2 weeks.
This is the next step in the process to independently verify the analysis carried out by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down. Last Wednesday, the Prime Minister wrote to the OPCW to formally invite them to verify the government’s analysis of the nerve agent used in the Salisbury attack. Subsequently the UK’s Permanent Representative to the OPCW wrote to the Technical Secretariat inviting them to come to the UK to take a sample, under Article 8 of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
It reflects the UK’s commitment to fully complying with the obligations of the Chemical Weapons Convention. On 12 March the Foreign Secretary summoned the Russian Ambassador and sought an explanation from the Russian government, as Article 9 of the convention is clear we have the right to do. We received no meaningful response. It is therefore Russia which is failing to comply with the provisions of the convention. We should resist any Russian attempts to muddy the waters.
The Foreign Secretary revealed this morning that we have information indicating that within the last decade, Russia has investigated ways of delivering nerve agents likely for assassination. And part of this programme has involved producing and stockpiling quantities of Novichok. This is a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
The start of the investigation by the international chemical weapons watchdog comes as the Foreign Secretary travels to Brussels to brief foreign ministers from across the European Union on the attempted assassinations in Salisbury before meeting with the NATO Secretary General.
As the Foreign Secretary noted this morning, we have been encouraged by the international support we have received to date. More than 20 countries across 6 continents have expressed their solidarity with us and we will continue to work with our European partners and allies around the world to tackle the threat posed by Russia to our collective security.
Russia is acting with hostility, in a manner which contravenes international law, and obviously, there will be countries across the world concerned for their own security, who'll act to preserve it. Russia needs, now, to understand that foreign powers will not stand idly by and just let the threat go unanswered.
You can stand on the side of reputability and decency. Or, you can continue to stand with the aggressors, and follow meekly behind those whose unspoken mantra is 'Might is Right'. Papokarlo, finally make your choice.

11 EU countries do not agree with Theresa may, and are waiting for the end of the investigation
let me remind you that the substance "Novichok" so it was just developed in America in 1998(This is described in the book of Vila Mirzoyanova, which shows the formula of a substance "A234" and so on)I already gave a link on YouTube
you will be fed Breakfast that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow will be the results.

The OPCW won't release its findings ? Are you serious ??
When they do -- will you apologise ?
By the way, you mention MH17. OK, check this out:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2905692/Is-proof-Russia-shot-flight-MH17-New-documentary-claims-plane-hit-Buk-surface-air-missile-launcher-operated-53rd-Russian-Air-Defence-Brigade.html
A report released by a German investigative group insists it was a Russian missile launcher that shot down flight MH17 in July killing all 298 passengers.
Searching For The Truth, a documentary produced by CORRECT!V, offers fresh testimonies from military experts, separatist fighters and residents of East Ukraine.
They have also collected photo, video and satellite evidence to produce a compelling account of how events unfolded on July 17 last year.
Their findings come just one day after pictures emerged of the Ukrainian air force pilot accused by pro-Russian rebels of being the man who shot the plane down.
The German investigative group claims the Malaysia Airlines passenger plane was shot down by a Buk surface to air missile launcher operated by the 53rd Russian Air Defense Brigade, Kyiv Post reports.
They say the the armed vehicle entered Ukraine to protect Russian armor that had been vulnerable to aerial attack earlier in the conflict - which erupted in April when Kremlin-backed militants seized several government buildings in the Donbas.
Speaking to CORRECT!V, military experts claimed only specially-trained troops acting as a tight and well-drilled unit could have operated the Buk.
They would have had just seconds, from when they sighted the plane, to switch on their radar and accurately fire the rocket.
Reporters working for the German investigative group travelled to the town of Snizhne in east Ukraine, held by Kremlin-backed separatists.
Several people they spoke to in the town described sights and sounds consistent with the launch of a Buk missile on the day flight MH17 crashed.
One witness went further, claiming he had seen the vehicle and then the missile shooting into the sky afterwards.
They said: 'They shot it down. The missile flew from here. We saw it, as it flew. I was in the yard and heard an explosion, a bang. It was a really loud bang. The tiles on my roof shook.

This is England, remember once and for all that we will not see the results of the investigation. as with the vial Colin Powell(Found in Iraq chemical weapons?) just like in Yugoslavia, no investigations, and a lot more. No investigation. remember, all in one voice shouted that Russia shot down plane over Ukraine MH17? it's been 5 years, and there's no investigation. But he accused Russia. Maybe someone has proved as the Assad regime in Syria used chemical weapons? but how much noise was in the press. These topics about chemical weapons have already got the world, 11 EU countries refused to join Theresa may and will not expel diplomats. Soon the whole world will understand, and learns truth.Hey Einstein, not for nothing but WE, the USA sold the precursors to chemical weapons to Saddam and the CIA taught his chemists how to refine the chemical weapons they already had.
That's pretty dummy-proof conclusion as well. While Saddam was killing Iranians, he was pretty well-received. Maybe you ought to talk to Putin about that since among his many other dumb moves, he's playing buddy with the Ayatollah. I figure he's suicidal myself. You DO know those Iranians kissing Russia's ass for stuff NOW are going to bite you in the ass later, right?
I'm quite sure in due time, AFTER the honest people have analyzed the sample, Russia will be provided a sample so it can loudly exclaim from the rooftops it's not theirs.
The Hague is Not "Great Britain". It is an international body. That would be the reason Great Britain turned the sample over to IT and NOT Russia so it could "disappear". be disclaimed, called too small, or whatever.

on this forum besides you three, there's someone else?Feel free to count the countries that have imposed sanction on Russia and allied themselves with Great Britain. Last I saw it was up around 14 or 15 or so, not 3. That's ENTIRE countries, not 3 individuals on a message board.
You are aware there's a thread on the mall fire in Russia, right? Maybe you could stop spinning in circles around a baseball bat long enough to comment? Be refreshing for you to address something you may know something about.

The BBC reports that the count's up to 26 countries, Gunny. All 26 having been, if we believed our Russian friend, somehow 'hoodwinked' by us British....
Not included in that total is NATO itself. They, too, have taken their welcome action. Seven diplomats thrown out by them.
Russians REALLY need to drop their arrogance on this issue, and come clean. Admit wrongdoing, pledge to never repeat it. It's from a beginning like this, that something really worthwhile could be built.
Fat chance of that happening, though.
