I didn't watch them, as evidently millions of others didn't either, but with that depiction, I didn't have to.

I will not watch them.
It is just a national pulpit to hear high school and college drop-outs
spew liberal rhetoric.

I have never seen the Oscars, and don't expect to ever watch that show. I was interested to read that they used to reward popular movies, but now the movies that win have been almost entirely separate from anything the public pays to see.
For instance that movie that won last year, Moonlight, about a black homosexual in Miami!??! I mean, really, does that sound like a people-pleaser to you?
On the other hand, the movie "Get Out" didn't sound promising, but the reviews were so good that I watched it, loved it (I like horror, however) and am pleased it won an Oscar and was pretty much the only popular movie that did. I got it in again to re-watch this week. It's a black movie, and anti-white in its way, and of course I don't usually look at that sort of thing, but it's got something that is independent of race.

The CHILD RAPIST and LEFTIST DEMOCRAT that FLED America to AVOID PROSECUTION, Roman Polanski, won. He's a darling of the left, and when given his award, all the leftist democrat filth gave him a STANDING OVATION.
Hollywood DEMOCRATS are a SPECIAL kind of HUMAN DEBRIS.

I didn't watch, so I didn't see that --- that is so weird considering they carried on and on about #MeToo!! I can't see how Polanski is much of an exception to the males who maltreat girls in Hollywood: he's like a leading example of bad, in fact criminal, behavior.
I can't figure this out. It makes no logical sense.
