Shooting Survivor Says CNN Gave Him Scripted Questions To Ask At Town Hall

One of the survivors of the Parkland shooting says he refused to attend a town hall event put on by CNN, because they wanted him to ask a scripted question.
17-year-old Colton Haab was invited by the network to ask a question during Wednesday night’s event in Sunrise, Florida.
Haab’s initially wanted to ask a question about using veterans as armed security guards at schools.
However, the high school said the mainstream media outlet rejected his prepared remarks and provided him with scripted questions, which he did not want to ask.
“CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions, and it ended up being all scripted,” said Haab.”I don’t think that it’s going to get anything accomplished, it’s not going to ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have.”
Students who attended the event told local media they felt what was said in the event was “politics as usual,” and didn’t hear as much as they wanted to in terms of solutions or policy proposals.

There were things I could not discuss about cases, because conclusions had not been reached.
Media wants an agent to SPECULATE, just to make headlines.
