Mayors of the three largest U.S. cities skipped a previously scheduled meeting at the White House Wednesday after the Department of Justice (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/justice-department.htm) sent a letter threatening to subpoena jurisdictions across the country for failing to share information with federal authorities related to undocumented immigrants.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/bill-de-blasio.htm), a Democrat, tweeted that he would not be attending the meeting, calling the DOJ’s decision a “racist (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/issues/racism.htm) assault on our immigrant communities.”The mayors of New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/chicago.htm), all cities on the DOJ’s list of jurisdictions, not only snubbed the meeting but blasted President Donald Trump (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/donald-trump.htm) as well.

There is zero chance of any convictions on this.

As I've said , the solution is so simple, I don't know why Trump hasn't already done it, other than he's not the cold hearted bastard that so many on the left pretend he is.

FLOOD NYC with federal agents, and deport EVERY single illegal alien you come across, not just the ones who are committing crimes, but ALL of them, and arrest and charge any Americans who are helping them in any way.

Just keep running raid after raid after raid until finally the people of NYC are like "please stop, we'll start cooperating with the federal government on deporting criminals" I'd estimate it would take less than a week.

Then move on to Chicagostan.

Huh. Federal troops did go into Salt Lake City in 1890 for EXACTLY the same reason: Utah was threatening seriously to secede, and also they did all that polygamy. Every man was supposed to have three wives at least, should have seven (days of the week, really), and could have any number, like Smith's 70. Federal troops stopped that, but it was a serious move.

I think this bears watching as the possible way the USA breaks up through secession. COULD federal troops take over California and stop the illegal alien thing (and you KNOW they are voting!) ? Because I don't think that is at all obvious. We haven't won a war since.........well, World War II, really. Maybe Bush I since he limited the war to getting Iraq out of Kuwait, and Clinton with Serbia, but California is a LOT more powerful and larger than either of those countries. Mexico would obviously help, hoping to get back California.

I've been expecting the country to suddenly shatter (it's always sudden, or it doesn't happen: three days) and California, Chicago, New York, right? Yeah, that would do it.
