Who Would Be Up For a DebatePolicy Get Together?

I'll tell ya, I would be. Have it somewhere "in between" everyone so that it wasn't just in someone's back yard... I'd go.

How long have we all known each other? 14 years? 15? A long time. Most of us met way back on the USMB. I was Pale Rider on there as most everyone knows, 007 now, although I have given getting banned considerable effort the last couple times I was there. It's a toilet now without Jim at the helm.

But I would seriously enjoy getting the chance to meet most people here. I think this crowd has hung together because we're all so much alike, and do enjoy the exchanging of opinions, pictures, stories of our lives, etc. Why not meet? I think it would be grand.

I know this idea has been floated before, but... it never went anywhere other than Jim going up to meet Night Train, and that had to be great fun. We should all be so lucky.

I agree with most of the posters regarding positions on politics, we tend to go in different directions though on the who and what is acceptable. Still and all, I like most everyone.

Believe or not petey. I would like to meet you. Give you a level PLAYING field where you can prove anything you want. In person, eye to eye, is the Preferred Way I would like to communicate with other people. Too many people only go eye to eye with their Electronic Devices...and either fall into holes, trip over curbs, or get hit by cars.
