So a 'friend' gave me this, and more or less "demanded" that I read and learn things for myself. It honestly and truthfully did not feel like a request in any shape or form. Quite frankly, it was more like a request to read it and convert me all in one.

So, I'm thinking of converting this into material for my fire this evening. It's 42 right now and gonna drop to about to the freezing level overnight. Plus, I just love a fire overall.

I don't like trying to be converted, but it's also not like someone came and left it at my front door.

I honestly haven't tried yet. I did follow up on a few statements, to see how it compared. In other words, a few things of interest, and then look it up in there. My 'friend' claims the translation in this book is the best English version. I don't think that will matter much anyway, as I really don't have much interest anymore. I've read a LOT LOT LOT over the years, likely more than I wanted to know. But I give things a fair shake, and am always willing to learn a little bit more. But, with that said, I really don't think I will learn more, nor want to learn more. This was kind of pushed on me a little, in a weird attempt to convert me, I believe anyway.

So now it's decision time. I am NOT giving it back, no way no how. I may just 86 it and never think of it again. I may save it in a closet for reference, but I don't trust him or what he gave me. Or I may use it as kindling for my first fire of the year.

Oh, trust me, I hide it well, and it's much easier to hide when you're the one taking the photos!! I'm like 5'9 and about 10 millimeters on top of that. I was up to as high as 224lbs in like 2011 I think? But then I started eating better and being a much better bum. I am now 172lbs, and I think I am now 5'9 and like 9 millimeters. I think the weight loss made me shrink height too!! :laugh:

Hell, I tell my muslim friends point blank about certain things in there that it's fucked up. They deny, claim it doesn't exist, the verses mean something different and what not. If you bring up the women stuff, alongside of facts about things in the women life in Islam in parts of the world - they will change the subject, claim I'm wrong and what not. They claim the women in Saudi Arabia DO NOT want to vote, DO NOT want to drive and they believe they WANT to wear the veils and all kinds of other crap about women. It's sometimes an awful lot of lies, and I have to keep a straight face - but other times I shove it down some throats.

Then in the winter I grow a full beard, but I start growing the beard earlier and earlier every year it seems. Started in Aug this year so I already have a pretty long WHITE beard. Anyway, I decided to rush a little as it's cold. I slipped just prior to my stairs and fell, dropped my book in the process and accidentally stepped on it.
