"He was the most clean-cut guy," Dill's father, Chris Dill Sr., said. "He never drank or smoked, and you had to really push his buttons to get him to curse. There wasn't a confrontational bone in his body."

Yet on Sunday, 5 Nov PO Dill died because of a drunk driver.

Dill was on his way to pick up his wife and her friends at about 2 a.m. Saturday when he crossed paths with a drunken driver going the wrong way on Interstate 264, according to court documents.

A woman driving 2011 Cadillac struck his 2009 Mazda head-on in the eastbound lane, just west of the Birdneck Road exit, according to a police summary of the incident.

Certain unnamed Virginia Beach circuit judges are so lenient on drunken driving defendants, lawyers will jockey their cases to try to get those judges, according to an article by WAVY-TV.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Harvey Bryant tells the station certain judges hand out little or no jail time for drunken or drugged drivers.
A member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving says she and others are monitoring the court to try to keep track of repeat offenders who get off lightly.
Virginia Beach charges more drunken driving offenses than any other Virginia locality, and 20 percent are repeat offenders.

Gunny. I remember those days too! But this is much more serious now. Not only are the roads full of drunks, but potheads, and the almost daily Cop chase, either before, or after the multiple shootings in the WONDERFUL HAMPTON ROADS, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, and even Jamestown City.

Almost seems like this area is in competition with Chicago, and the other Democrat run cities where LAWLESSNESS...as preached by Obama, and the minions who declared the area Sanctuary cities;...but the Unlicensed, Illegals who collect Virginia Unemployment, State Welfare, and Federal Food Stamps that allow the LAW BREAKERS to drive cars that are either stolen, or unlicensed...and become DUI candidates with Multiple Offenses the Liberal Judges fear...would be offended and called RACISTS.
So much for the Success of DEMOCRAT/RINO governments.
