I hope you jar heads don't mind a zoomie joining in... ;)Funny thing to which I took GREAT offense. I grew up as an Air Force dependent. Was born on Lackland. Was all fine and dandy until I showed up in a uniform that said USMC. I was mud, if THAT, then.

USAF personnel considered us neanderthals just because we kept wrecking their clubs and beating them up and stealing their women when THEY started the damned fights. Kadena AFB was the worst. We weren't even allowed in the Airman's Club nor the NCO Club. They reluctantly fed us at the mess hall at the flight line when we'd fly back in froK Korea.

Went to the NCO club on Lackland once and the Duty NCO at the desk said he'd let us in of we promised not to wreck his club:laugh:. He was dead serious :laugh:.
