William Ury presents himself as a negotiation expert. According to him, he took part in every big decisions around the world (such as the SALT I Treaty, the Balkans, Yugoslavia, the FARC, Venezuela). It seems that he is more of a clever manipulator who always manages to come out on top by taking credit for other people's work. He also has knack for appearing out of nowhere at the right time for the final photo op. What is little known is that he systematically double crosses his partners. Ury clearly plays on both side of the fence. And don’t worry, if you're getting too old, he will also know how to take care of your closed ones.
And more on this guy:
Goldman Sachs bank has chosen its new negotiator to handle a number of sensitive business in South America: William Ury. It is worth noting that Goldman Sachs is close to the current U.S. Presidential Administration, which is currently very concerned about the political turmoil in Venezuela. Remember that William Ury claimed to have work closely with Hugo Chavez.
