Dem Sen. Kamala Harris Won’t Answer If ‘Convicted Felon’ Should Serve In Senate — Despite Being Asked 10 Times
Democrat Senator Bob Menendez is in a lot of trouble. The New Jersey lawmaker faces up to 20-years in prison on fraud and bribery charges. The Republican National Committee published a video in which Democrat Senator Kamala Harris of California is asked if a “convicted felon” should be allowed to serve in the U.S. Senate. The former State Attorney General refused to answer the question — ten times!

Freshman Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) has received a great deal of press lately and virtually all of it has been positive. Harris is being floated by Washington elites and the Hamptons crowd as a potential presidential candidate in 2020.
While Harris has accomplished very little in her short time as a Senator, that hasn’t stopped her from personally boosting her national profile. A new report from the Washington Free Beacon reveals that Harris is paying an online media firm hundreds of thousands of dollars to “push her message” and the mainstream media is paying close attention.
Washington Free Beacon reports:
Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris (Calif.) has paid the online media firm that helped propel Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during his dark horse run for the 2016 Democratic primary more than $400,000 this year, filings show.
Revolution Messaging LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based progressive online media firm founded by Scott Goodstein, an online director for Obama for America in 2008, was instrumental in helping push Sanders’s message out and raise his profile during his race against Hillary Clinton by creating his digital and branding strategy.
“In the spring of 2015, before the campaign launched, we knew Bernie Sanders was a leader who stood on the right side of history,” the group wrote in their case study. “But Bernie was polling around 3 percent, had no establishment support, little name recognition and was running against a popular and ‘inevitable’ Democratic primary opponent. We had our work cut out for us. With no offline fundraising team, no Super PAC, and no Wall Street money, we would have to raise almost all of the campaign’s money from small-dollar donations.”
