Actually the texts that teach the young have changed history quite a lot, speaking of 'flawed statesmen,' without any clarification of time and place. Meanwhile, groups like women and minorities, that were held back by the culture of the time, well in many cases what they were able to accomplish, takes up more ink than those who were making the history of the time.
