The gender QUESTION, that, in its modern form consists of two parts: 1. I think a stabilizing factor is the old fashioned family that appears to be a curse word anymore, or at least to have any expectation of that remaining the dominant type of household.

Women, men, marriage, family, children.

First we have marriages that fail too often. The divorce rate is much too high, for each individual reason I really don't know. But yes, I would expect "cheating" is high on the list if not the first reason for many divorces. I am just guessing though.

But "family" as it was seems to be slowly eroding from society. The idea of "one man and one woman" getting married. Just saying what I just did can and likely will elicit responses that I somehow said something wrong. Gotta remembers the homos and the lesbians and the transgender and the other 53 types of known genders that suddenly appeared in the past few years.

The regular family household as I knew it, as I grew up with, those numbers seem to be dwindling. So many reasons all told, but society has been decaying as a result, again IMO. :( :(

I think you are stuck in the 1950's. Women are just as vital to the American economy as men. There are not many jobs that can't be done as well or better by women.
Men and women should be equal partners in a marriage. There is nothing wrong with women working and men staying home with the kids if that is necessary.

That's not what I meant. I'm not saying women don't have value or can't work but the nuclear family today is different than it was in the past because women are working in large numbers now. That's all I meant, it wasn't intended as a slam against women.

There have only ever been TWO Genders. Male, and Female. Even a common plumber knows the difference between a Male Fitting, and a Female fitting.

Have you noticed that both parents working results in a lower standard of living than one parent working produced 60 years ago? If you think about it "equality" is dehumanizing. The end result of "equality" is that people become interchangeable and replaceable just like light bulbs.
