WASHINGTON — President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.
...
The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president, not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.
It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.

I had high hopes for him, but he seemed too interest in being loud and brash. From what I understand, it was General Kelly that got him tossed.

I think with Drudge Report actually highlighting some of the choas and today featuring the first Rasmussen poll that shows his approval rating below 40, perhaps Trump will listen that just appealing to his base is not a winning strategy? Heck, there might be a supporter or two that found the torture of Sessions and the vulgarity of "Mooch" not even what they thought they had in mind?
I hope Kelly is able to continue to bring hope of some discipline, it's the only way that there's any chance of seeing anything coming forward legislatively from the administration.
If the administration stops highlighting persona and gets down to focusing on what they claimed to want to accomplish, something may get done.

Yeah because he hasn't accomplished anything. And he is responsible for Mac's antics (wait for the show) .

Looks like General Kelly doesn't waste any time.
I've got high hopes that he'll get things ship-shape in short order.

Watching the press conference now, most important answer so far, "Everyone will report to General Kelly." That is the key to power for the Chief of Staff-everyone needs to include family members at least business related.

How will Kelly respond when Trump's family members elect to bypass him and report directly to the President? As you know they will.

Yeah, what I said regarding family. We'll see what Kelly does. CNN is reporting he considered resigning when Comey was fired. He also has turned down this positions, reportedly. So I would guess he won't tolerate or will remove himself.

White House staffers have reported that Kelly and Scaramucci met this morning. When Scaramucci informed Kelly that he only answered to Trump, he was fired on the spot. A disagreement broke out and Scaramucci was escorted out of the building.
Ivanka and Kushner were reported to be livid that this went down without their knowledge or counsel. They cancelled their engagements and went looking for Daddy Trump.
Yep, nothing but peace and tranquility in the White House. :fighting0061:

I am beginning to equate the red shirt guys in the old Star Trek shows with the white house staff. Don't expect them to last long. :)
