I've placed this in the appropriate place. I have nothing more than some serious suspicion, based on the past 18 months of lies and deceit, coming from ALL avenues in our government and intel. I pretty much don't trust anyone in Washington right now for sure. And hearing more and more about how the majority involved in this probe are folks who donate to the democrat side. But if there is nothing to be found, there's nothing to hide and/or worry about then. I can't imagine anything happening short of absolute proof. Hence where this thread lies. :)

Gingrich: Mueller's Law Firm 'Gave 99.81% of Its Donations to Hillary Clinton'
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich thinks something is fishy with Robert Mueller's investigation into President Trump's Russia ties. On the same day that Mueller asked the White House to preserve all documents pertaining to Don Jr.'s Russian lawyer meeting, Gingrich alleged that there are major conflicts of interest at play here. He told Fox News, "The law firm he comes from gave 99.81 percent of its donations to Hillary Clinton last year." And he said this seems like, "a deliberate effort to go after the president and the president’s team."

Special counsel team members donated to Dems, FEC records show
Washington (CNN)Three members of the legal team known to have been hired so far by special counsel Robert Mueller to handle the Russia investigation have given political donations almost exclusively to Democrats, according to a CNN analysis of Federal Election Commission records.
More than half of the more than $56,000 came from just one lawyer and more than half of it was donated before the 2016 election, but two of the lawyers gave the maximum $2,700 donation to Hillary Clinton last year.
Over the weekend, news outlets including CNN identified five attorneys that Mueller has already brought on board to help investigate potential collusion between associates of President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia.
The group includes seasoned attorneys who worked on cases ranging from Watergate to the Enron fraud scandal and have represented major American companies in court. While only five attorneys have been publicly identified as working on the Russia probe, there could be more on Mueller's team.

Mueller Hires 13 Attorneys to Join Russia Probe (This article one month old)
Special Counsel Robert Mueller recently beefed up his investigative team to include 13 new attorneys just as news reports indicated the scope of the Russia investigation was expanding.
And, according to Mueller's spokesman, Peter Carr, more attorneys are on the way. The new staff — which includes former Enron and Watergate lawyers — came under scrutiny recently for donating to Democrats, CNN reported.
White House advisor Kellyanne Conway highlighted those ties on Twitter on Tuesday:

Among them are James Quarles and Jeannie Rhee, both of whom Mueller brought over from his old firm, WilmerHale. He's also hired Andrew Weissmann, who led the Enron investigation.
