Hezbollah Operatives Scouted Targets in NY, Panama: FedsBy Jonathan Dienst (http://www.nbcnewyork.com/results/?keywords=%22Jonathan+Dienst%22&byline=y&sort=date) and Joe Valiquette (http://www.nbcnewyork.com/results/?keywords=%22Joe+Valiquette%22&byline=y&sort=date)
Two men with ties to Hezbollah conducted “pre-operational surveillance” on possible targets for attack in New York, as well as U.S. and Israeli embassies in Panama, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

No specific plot was underway but the men were allegedly scouting the targets to assess their vulnerabilities, including LaGuardia Airport and FBI headquarters in New York.

The two men allegedly received weapons and bomb-making training in Lebanon. Ali Kourani, of the Bronx, was arrested last week on the terror-related charges. Samer El Debek was arrested in Livonia, Michigan, and sent to New York last week for trial.

When will this country wake up and realize that a state of war exists between us (i.e. the West) and them (i.e. Islamist jihadis and their supporters)? They certainly have and do realize this. They act like enemy combatants and are enemy combatants.

We should stop treating this like a criminal matter and make it a matter of national security.

We should round up and deport all of those non-citizens with ties to Hezbollah, Hamas, ISIS, etc in this country. Second, we should round up and detain indefinitely all of those who are citizens with ties to these organizations and keep them incommunicado.

I realize that most Muslims are not jihadis... however, there are many who stand on the sidelines who give material and moral support to these organizations. They should be treated as enemy combatants, too.

We should be going after CAIR and other organizations that are nothing more than fronts for these terrorist organization who try to influence our leaders into thinking that the real problem is Islamophbia not terrorism. Right, just like Nazi-phobia was the real problem in the 1930s and 1940s.

Imams who preach in mosques advocating violent means against this country should be brought to the authorities and deported or detained.

By doing so we will send a strong signal to them that we mean business.

I know how I sound, but enough is enough already.

Hezbollah is sort of a group with more of an anti-Israel slant, yet still Muslim.

Now THIS I find on the right order for our country. When politicians say 'Moderate Muslims' they knowingly or not are referring to those that want to live under our Constitution, not Sharia:

CHICAGO — ACT for America, which the Southern Poverty Law Center (https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/group/act-america) designates as an anti-Muslim hate group, is spearheading several rallies across the country Saturday in what is slated to be the group’s largest protest against Islam.

The "March Against Sharia" will take place in more than 20 cities, including New York, Dallas, and Atlanta.

ACT for America, which has over 525,000 members and has boasted of its close ties to President Donald Trump, is organizing the marches. It has been considered a hate group by Southern Poverty Law Center (https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/group/act-america) for several years.

In spite of the tone taken, the Southern Poverty Law Center has many groups on their 'hate list' that aren't that. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2017/03/14/southern-poverty-law-center-hate-groups-column/99117508/
