Well, thank goodness obamas administration thwarted the hack!


But the suggestion that Russian hackers may gained at least a foothold in electronic voting systems is likely to add even more pressure to special counsel and congressional investigations. The Obama administration maintained that it took preventive measures to successfully guard against breaches of the systems in all 50 states.

Reality Leigh Winner’s apparent social media footprint also shows that she is a supporter of other liberal causes, including the Women’s March and the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim civil rights group.

She also recently referred to President Trump as a “piece of shit” because of his position on the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) protests.

Winner was indicted in federal court on Monday after she allegedly stole classified documents from her employer, Pluribus International, a defense contractor that does work for the NSA from its offices in Augusta, Ga.

Along those same lines. Every Veteran member here knows; had any of us done what that 25 year old did....at any time. We'd instantly be visiting our permanent home in Leavenworth, Kansas. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

There are going to be more leakers. And all of them should get cuffed, and Locked up. Just like Hillary, Bubba, Obama, and every member of his administration who BROKE THE LAWS.

Reality Leigh Winner, the government contractor charged (https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2017/06/05/busted-government-contractor-arrested-for-leaking-classified-information-n2336874) with leaking classified information, has been denied bail after it was revealed that she also downloaded classified information from a computer with a thumb drive. Nobody knows where the thumb drive is currently located.

...(Lots of quotes from tweets that have to do with the thumb drive was actually from her time as translator in AF.)

Winner faces up to 10 years in prison. She's the first to be charged under the Espionage Act during Trump's presidency.

Prosecutor Jennifer Solari says investigators seized a notebook from Winner's house in Augusta, Georgia, and in it, Winner made references about traveling to the Middle East. At one point she wrote, "I want to burn the White House down ... find somewhere in Kurdistan to live. Haha."


Solari cautioned that prosecutors were not trying to link Winner to terrorism.


"The government is not in any way suggesting the defendant has become a jihadist or that she is a Taliban sympathizer," Solari told the judge.

I think this changes the complex of things. I really don't give a crap who she liked here politically. But if she wants to leak security secrets - and then we find out that she had wanted to burn the WH down, and perhaps travel to Afghanistan?? And pledge allegiance to those scumbags no less?? Her parents are talking about how this is all a mistake and what a great person she is. Obviously something went wrong that was putting her over the edge. Just disliking a president shouldn't do this to a person.

I think she's in a heap of trouble. First the crime she's been charged with, second that it now appears that it may not be the first attempt and that it's not 'all about Trump.' Her social media rants and a journal she seems to have kept are going to be problematic. Then it seems that for all her brilliance, she failed to catch on that prison calls are monitored-in which it seems she was trying to direct her parents/sister in how to 'play the media.'

NSA Leaker Hopes Being ‘White And Cute’ Will Help Get Her Off The Hook

Reality Leigh Winner, the 25-year-old government contractor who recently stole classified documents from the National Security Agency, has revealed her strategy for avoiding jail time: play the “pretty, white and cute” card.

The plan, which Winner reportedly discussed with her sister from the Georgia detention center where she resides, is somewhat hypocritical since she has said on social media that “being white is terrorism.”

“I’m going to play that card being pretty, white and cute, braid my hair and cry and all,” Winner told her sister during a phone call from the jailhouse, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Solari said in a court hearing in Atlanta on Thursday.

Winner was arrested over the weekend after she admitted to FBI agents that she stole a Top Secret report from her employer, Pluribus International, an Augusta, Ga.-based NSA contractor.

After printing out the report on May 9, she mailed them to a reporter with The Intercept, the news website.

The document, dated May 5, revealed that the NSA had determined that Russian hackers had attempted to hack into state voting systems across the U.S.

Winner, who was denied bail on Thursday, was discovered after a reporter with The Intercept contacted the NSA, which on May 30 informed the FBI of the breach. Investigators were able to determine that Winner was the person who leaked the documents to The Intercept.
