And I'll believe it when I see it!! It still has to get the votes in the senate. We shall see. But it's got to be better than the plate of crap served from the previous administration.
And yeah, he traveled the country, and may have yelled at some folks - but just as I don't blame him for shitty plans/bills in congress (for most part), I also ain't giving him credit for anything that removes Obamacrap. I may owe Ryan a tiny apology if this passes the senate.

Donald Trump Celebrates House Vote for Obamacare Replacement: ‘It’s Essentially Dead’
President Donald Trump celebrated the House vote to replace Obamacare on Thursday, bringing House Republicans to the White House to talk about their victory.
Trump spoke about how he traveled the country during the presidential election and heard everyone’s complaints about Obamacare.
“It’s been a catastrophe,” Trump said, describing Obamacare as “essentially dead.”
House Republicans finally passed their version legislation this afternoon and immediately boarded buses that transported them to the White House.
Trump praised the plan with dozens of House Republicans in the Rose Garden, who laughed and celebrated with the president.
“It’s a great plan,” Trump said, assuring Americans that premiums and deductibles would start coming down. “This is a repeal and replace of Obamacare, make no mistake,”
Trump also appeared optimistic that the bill would succeed in the Senate.
“We’re going to get this passed through the Senate,” he said. “I feel so confident.”
Trump and his aides spoke with Speaker Paul Ryan privately in the Oval Office before the statement as House Republicans stood in the Rose Garden. He thanked Ryan during his speech,
“I want to thank Speaker Ryan, he has worked so hard,” Trump said, congratulating him for a “job well done” in getting the bill passed. Ryan also thanked Trump for his leadership in pushing the bill across the finish line.

I honestly don't see how it could be worse, though there's some reports that are saying there's the ability for employers to up the costs to employees and remove benefits to keep their costs down.
I hope for the best, but am concerned that just like AHCA it hasn't had a chance to be read by those voting on it, much less than the public. It won't come out of the Senate the same, though Democrats were thrilled that it passed.

I don't have any issues. It took the previous administration a few years, and with 100 days we have a MUCH better alternative. Not perfection, but MUCH better and a beginning. Worse would be leaving it as it was. I think this lowers things all around the board, and of course premiums. It gets rid of a shitload of regulations. And it's not done either, it's definitely going to see changes in the senate, and likely towards what republicans want. Yes, the dems thrilled, the republicans were also thrilled. That really doesn't tell us much. I don't have any issues with it, but I do fully understand that everyone is looking for different things. Not only with the healthcare, but also with the government funding and what not.
And from what I'm reading, it was the lobbying directly from Trump that put it over the top. That oughta piss off some on the left even more. :)

The Senate is expected to do a lot of overhaul on it.
I still say the best thing to do was to let this commie experiment fail miserably and revert back.
It doesn't matter which party gives birth to the beast; it's still run by the Feds and is therefore going to suck and be hideously expensive.

I couldn't agree more. The BEST plan would be NO plan by them, IMO. But far too late for that now. :( At least this plan removes the government a bunch, but not nearly enough. Maybe the senate will make further changes?

List of Obamacare Taxes Repealed
The American Health Care Act (HR 1628) passed by the House today reduces taxes on the American people by over $1 trillion. The bill abolishes the following taxes imposed by Obama and the Democrat party in 2010 as part of Obamacare:
-Abolishes the Obamacare Individual Mandate Tax which hits 8 million Americans each year.
-Abolishes the Obamacare Employer Mandate Tax. Together with repeal of the Individual Mandate Tax repeal this is a $270 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s Medicine Cabinet Tax which hits 20 million Americans with Health Savings Accounts and 30 million Americans with Flexible Spending Accounts. This is a $6 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s Flexible Spending Account tax on 30 million Americans. This is a $20 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s Chronic Care Tax on 10 million Americans with high out of pocket medical expenses. This is a $126 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s HSA withdrawal tax. This is a $100 million tax cut.
-Abolishes Obamacare’s 10% excise tax on small businesses with indoor tanning services. This is a $600 million tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare health insurance tax. This is a $145 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare 3.8% surtax on investment income. This is a $172 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare medical device tax. This is a $20 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare tax on prescription medicine. This is a $28 billion tax cut.
-Abolishes the Obamacare tax on retiree prescription drug coverage. This is a $2 billion tax cut.
As a presidential candidate in 2008, Barack Obama had promised repeatedly that he would not raise any tax on any American earning less than $250,000 per year. He broke the promise when he signed Obamacare. With the passage of the House GOP bill, tens of millions of middle income Americans will get tax relief from Obamacare's long list of tax hikes.

Just more big government intrusion that will cost us all more money and decrease freedom. Americans were stupid enough to go for this garbage and now it is here to stay. There are no conservatives in DC, none.
Alexander Frasier Tytler said it best:
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.

We can choose. Trump and Obamacare dead, or....
The 10 Rules of The Communist Manifesto...Better known by Democrats who practice it as SOCIALISM.....
1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public purpose.
The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State "income" taxes. We call it "paying your fair share".
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
We call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
We call in government seizures, tax liens, Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who speak out or write against the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
We call it the Federal Reserve which is a credit/debt system nationally organized by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This private bank has an exclusive monopoly in money creation which in reality has ended the need for revenue from taxes. So why do they tax? To FOOL YOU into thinking they need them.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State.
We call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) madated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver's licenses and Department of Transportation regulations. There is also the postal monopoly, AMTRACK and CONRAIL.
7. Extention of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
We call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture. As well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Evironmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.
8. Equal liablity of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
We call it the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two "income" family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920's, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000. And I almost forgot...The Equal Rights Amendment means that women should do all work that men do including the military and since passage it would make women subject to the draft.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
We call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136.
10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
People are being taxed to support what we call 'public' schools, which train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based "Education".
