The press should not be allowed to lie or mislead. That includes with their headlines. How is the "Trump colluded with Putin" lie coming along ? Has Oliver stone interviewed CNN employees yet for his next film? How about Michael Moore ?

Sure they can, if they libel they can be sued, but other than that, it's all fair. You choose which papers, magazines, etc., to buy and to read.

When you accept alternative facts, what is a lie and what is a fact? That is the point of freedom of speech. You can just about say whatever you want. Hell Trumps favorite publication the National Inquirer would go under.

The bottom line of 'alternative facts' and 'fake news' is that each of us decide which is which.We decide whom to listen to or not. What to buy or not. Which candidates to support and which not.

So now we get back to 'character counts,' or something? Sorry, now it's all about whether or not you buy into what they're selling.
