Thank you for your thread.
This is accessible to the few to be lucky to see many other countries and people own eyes, especially to Americans, living so far and isolated from the rest of the World. :slap:

YOU MY FRIEND, ARE SO BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE ALL OF THAT.
Get to see things(historic) that most of us only get glimpses of in movies.
I am happy for you my friend.....-Tyr

So, how does the cow handle as opposed to a horse?
Do they corner better? How fast from 0 - 10?

Yes, Europeans can visit other countries more easily. But it's not like we have to take a slow boat to get there, you know. We have this wonderful thing called air travel, which can get us there in about 8 hours. I kid you not. Not much longer than it takes to get to the other side of our country. We have a ton to explore here, too.
As far as visiting other countries, I've been to Bermuda, the Bahamas, England, Spain, and Italy. And going to Canada in a few months. Had I grown up with more money and not spent my time and money on college and law school, I would have visited more. And I'd wager that several other DP members have seen a lot more than I have.
So I'm not of a mind to hear anymore of this "you poor isolated uncultured Americans" BS.

Please do not ascribe to me that I did not speak in my post.
Then, it's a matter of fact that you are FAR from the rest of World and isolated from it by two oceans and have only 2 surface neighboring countries Canada and Mexico. And those few of the forum maybe visited more countries as you is a lucky exclusion confirming the rule. And you know it not less than I do.
In my post I've just express that I was glad of dmp to be lucky to visit other country and NOTHING more. And I am glad that you are more aware of the other countries than your new generation (I don't want to revert to the jokes about President GWB junior, the graduate of Yale University, btw not the worst University in the USA)

Ouch. Just broke mine, too. But from an ornery bedroom chair.

Haha, I call myself a "Messterpiece". With the toe and the hip being on opposite legs, I now just literally lean on Russ wherever we go.

Like Abbey, I was going to say, "It reminds me of a toy town I had as a little girl." I loved that toy, my uncle brought it back from Europe, never saw anything like it. I wonder where it went?
