Just got back from the pro-Trump rally held early today in Huntington Beach. It was about a mile or so from our house, so my daughter and I went down to watch it.
It was a remarkably peaceful occasion organized by a woman. Very family friendly, almost like a parade. They were handing out flags and balloons. I was enjoying it. There were several thousand at the rally and they were very dedicated, but also very friendly.
UNTIL... the a-holes showed up. And by "a-holes," I mean a group of ignorant nimrods looking for trouble. It was disgusting and embarrassing that they claimed to represent anti-Trump people. They weren't liberals. They were just a-holes looking for trouble.

Truth be told though, I break them up into a few groups. You have liberals, purely just against Trump and his policies, or some of his policies. They may carry a sign highlighting what they don't like. They may make themselves known vocally, but without being "pigs" in their language. They may even burn a Trump in effigy. All these things I have no issue with. There are tons of ways to protest peacefully AND not look like a flaming butthole.

Then you have the far left loonies. They simply rant and rave incoherently at anyone with a Trump shirt or Red hat on. They couldn't care less if kids are around as their vulgarity comes out along with spittle as they scream. They are against everything and anything, even if they don't know what it is. Their signs are riddled with errors and also spew vulgarity. A few of these folks also break laws when pushed.

Then the special folks. These are those with the masks, are usually very young, come in after things start and are there 100% to start trouble. They are very often wearing masks. Many bring megaphones with them to make sure as many as possible can hear their vulgarity. They rant about nazi stuff, camps, end of all women's rights and other totally insane crap. They vandalize and often assault people. Half of them are literally too stupid to even know what they're protesting or why they're there. They just know it's a fun day of being hooligans.

And yeah, there are various categories when it's Clinton or other democrats at some sort of get together. Without seeming like I'm always taking one side, the fact is, I simply do see it less on the right. ABSOLUTELY - you see folks on the right from all 3 of the categories I just explained. I also simply don't see as many is all. Stripes of folks on every side of every aisle.

I posted it here because I KNEW that the right-wing media was going to jump in and distort the story beyond reality. Since obviously none of bloggers were there.

I used to participate in peaceful protest rallies. I soured on them when I discovered that they were often taken over by "professional protestors." These are anarchists and those looking for excuses to cause trouble. They hide among large masses, who usually get the blame for the uprisings.

There were quite a few anti-Trump people (including myself and my daughter) who came to the rally to see what would happen. The Trump supporters defused everything by handing out flags and balloons and generally promoting peace and unity.
I was told that the anarchists tried to incite trouble earlier before going at it alone. They were obviously looking to strike and then blend into the crowd. I have never been so happy to see someone tear gassed. :p

I read your article. I then posted another article BACKING YOU UP, showing that it was the dummies who came solely for trouble, those wearing the masks. I think they were left leaning, considering their targets and words... And then with that said, based on your post here - WHO attacked you in ANY post up till this point? I don't see it.
