There is definately something about a tramp stamp (those tattoos in the small of the back) that works for me.

67? That doesn't leave her a lot of time to "enjoy" the "artwork" before having to face judgment day, and St. Pete barring her from Heaven’s Gate for the Mark of the Devil.

Very interesting. I have sat in the tattoo chair to be inked no less than 17 times now. Since I have my Pug on my right upper chest, I intend on going again before too long to get my Chihuahua on the opposite side!
So you think St. Peter is gonna reject me? You think my body is now a "trash can"?
I'm not angry with your opinions, but they do seem rather harsh. I've known PLENTY of people that have had tattoo's that unfortunately have since passed away. They were fine people and I have no doubt in my mind they reside in Heaven right now.
I think tattoo's are in fact art, and an expression of the person receiving them. I don't get them to impress anyone, nor do I care if anyone ever sees them. I got them for myself, because I enjoy them and they all have significant meaning to me for various stages of my life.

As much as I respect you Jimmy I have to tell you that I've seen your picture with the tats, and in my opinion, you'd look a whole lot nicer without them. Tats are a big fad right now and unlike the latest hairstyle or clothes you can't get rid of them when the fad's over. Think how dumb an AMC Pacer would look in your driveway. Back 30 years ago they were cool.
When I was a kid there was an old man in his early 80's who lived behind my grandfather's cabin. He was a Navy man during WW1, had lots of great stories and one of the nicest people in my memory. He had all kids of tats on his arms that were shriveled and faded and the ink had sort of bled together so you couldn't read the names of his old girlfriends or ships that he had served. I asked him about them and all he could express was sadness and regret. Now think about that AMC Pacer with dents, faded paint and rust as your only method of transportation. It's a real turn-on for the ladies?
With regards to the mark of the devil thing that's in the same realm as my evil cat stories, where I take something with some element of truth and wild exaggerate it to get a rise out of people. In truth I think there is some basis of truth in "the mark of the devil" issue but I also think that it can overcome with a strong, pure heart.
You may be telling yourself that your opinion of tats will not change so let me relate another example of human nature. When I bought my first house it was in upstate NY on 2 acres next to 700 of farmland. I had a good well, dry basement and a modern pole barn with a concrete floor and electricity. It was so quiet at night that in the spring after the snow melt you could literally hear the groundwater flowing near the house. It was also 110 feet higher than Syracuse and on a clear day you could see the cooling tower of a nuke plant on Lake Ontario. It was everything that I had ever wanted in a house. My realtor, another real nice guy BTW, told me that he’d see me again in 7 years because that was the average time for a homeowner to get want to move. I laughed because I knew that I was not one to follow societal trends. 8 years later I called him to sell the place for me.

Haven't you seen "Wayne's World"? They had a twizzler dispenser in theirs! That's a hot car, just rip out the engine and replace it with a 427 and your good to go!
You're not the first to state I'd look better without tats, but they are a part of who I am now, and I'm proud of myself and see myself no differently when I look in the mirror. Some ink, earrings our wildly cut hair doesn't make a man, it's why you are inside and how you display yourself that counts.

By the time I'm in my 80's I'll be surviving off of whiskey and porno mags. By then my days of hunting down the babes will likely be long gone. Hell, I'll probably be dead before I'm 60 let alone reaching my 80's! Nonetheless, the man inside of me won't change with either ink or age.

No different than women hurting their bodies when they get earrings. Although some might look at the body as a temple not to be modified in any way, I'm sure it's not enough to warrant eternal damnation!

Well, if I get tired of my tats I'll see if I can find a buyer for a used and abused body, full of liquor, narcotics, ink & perverse thoughts. :laugh2:

I know Jewish people are very much so against it, as they feel the body is a temple. Most Jewish women I am friends with won't even consider being with a guy that has a tattoo.
I guess I'm going to burn in hell with the amount of ink I have!
