One one hand, I thought that they might like it because it means fewer greasy Latinos in the USA, on the other they might not because it helps Cubans escape communist tyranny. Inquiring minds want to know.

The move has enraged many, but so far, none have been as vocal as Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL.).
“If I see a picture on Friday of President Obama (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/section/barack-obama) massaging Raul Castro’s feet, really, with fuzzy little gloves, massaging his feet, that wouldn’t surprise me,” Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart told reporters on Thursday. “Because this president has no limit when it comes to bowing down, appeasing and giving concessions to Castro or to other enemies of the United States.”
Diaz-Balart has long been one of the most ardent critics of the Cuban government. He is the nephew of Fidel Castro; the dictator dubbed him (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/08/us/all-in-the-family-brothers-wage-war-on-uncle-fidel.html) one of his “most repulsive enemies.” The lawmaker argued that Obama’s decision is especially misguided given that it comes one day after the temporary detention of Oscar Biscet, a doctor and political dissident (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/dr.-oscar-biscet-a-profile-in-courage-from-cuba/article/2593545), who was threatened with further arrests if he continues trying to organize a new parliament in the country.

First - define what a "Trump humper" is and why the need to start with an insult before anyone even replies?
As for the rest - come LEGALLY or EFF off. Just a shame that this president wants them coming lawfully now, but thinks it racist if someone wants to do the same between Mexico.

I'm not a Trump supporter but I was in Miami 2 weeks ago and there's just not any more room for more Cubans.

Living here (and visiting Miami often) the Democrats are going to have a harder time in So Fla getting votes

The US has been giving refugees from Communism a break for decades. I wonder if Trump's primary votes (not reluctant voters against Hillary in the General Election) are going to oppose them still getting a break.

I am not even sure what the theme and purpose of this trash thread is about.
Is it that Obama wants to incorporate more immigrants from Cuba?
Is it that he wants to flood the country with more Latino liberal voters?
He's going to try and royally fuck this nation his last two weeks.

While this is one of the more idiotic initial posts I have read it deals with a very serious situation that deserves some consideration without regard to the blatant childish trolling with which it was wrappered.
Cubans suffer under a despotic communist regime and in recognition of that fact the US has always had the policy in place that someone escaping such circumstances and making it to US shores should get the benefit residency. What Mr. Obama has done is to essentially close the door to folks escaping this danger and he has embraced their oppressor.
Moronic policy that is doing nothing but hurting folks trying to get away form communism. America used to stand against communism.

I lived in S FL part of the 60s and most of the 70s. Giving refuge is a far cry from the handouts Cubans get/got. The government would basically put them in business on our dime. We don't get any free nothing last I checked.
As far as the thread goes ... :slap:

They most certainly get some handouts, but to drop the policy for a populace that actually is under threat while intentionally hobbling the border patrol with regard to illegal immigration from Mexico is absurd.

Agreed. I have the experience of living in both places (TX and FL) for extended periods. The policies are not consistent. And anyone that thinks Cubans are Mexicans or vice versa I invite you go call one the wrong name. Might want to bring your gun.
