Bild learned of the negotiations on the transfer of "Eurovision-2017" from Kiev to Moscow
The organizers of "Eurovision" are in talks about a possible postponement of the competition in 2017 in Russia. It is reported by the German newspaper Bild, citing a source in the organizing Committee.
"There is a real risk that the event may be held in another country. For us it would be a disaster," said the newspaper, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on foreign Affairs Anna hopko. According to the publication, the venue of Eurovision song contest may be held in Moscow. It is noted that the fact of negotiations does not mean the transfer of activities to another country.
The decision to start the search for a new venue of the contest was made due to the fact that Kyiv still has not provided the organizers of "Eurovision" financial guarantees. The cost of the competition in recent years, range from 17 million euros to 25 million euros, the newspaper said. The organizing Committee covers only the amount from 10 million euros to 14 million euros, the remaining amount should cover the host country.
As noted, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko has allocated for the "Eurovision" 9 million euros, but this amount is not enough. In addition, adopted earlier by the Parliament act on the direction of additional financial resources for the carrying out of "Eurovision", according to the publication, failed to convince the organizers of the competition.
However, the Ukrainian authorities insist on the fact that funding sources have already been found and will soon be submitted to the leadership of the European broadcasting Union (EBU) — the organiser of international contests "Eurovision", "Eurovision" and "Dance contest", reports RIA Novosti (http://www.ria.ru/).

According to him, the budget provides a subsidy of 200 million hryvnia (about 7.8 million dollars), still the same Kiev has provided to guarantee the contest, and is ready to allocate another billion of hryvnias for the preparation of the city's infrastructure.
A day earlier, Director General of the National television and radio company (NTRC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Harbin said (https://lenta.ru/news/2016/11/27/euro_2017/), that Ukraine could lose the right to host the contest, if you don't hurry up with his organization.
