He was 83.
"Mr. Vaughn passed away at 7:30 this morning," Sullivan said, calling Vaughn "a great human being and a great actor."
"The Man from U.N.C.L.E." aired from 1964-68 and made Vaughn one of TV's biggest stars.
Before moving to the small screen, Vaughn got his start in the movies as an extra on "The Ten Commandments" in 1956. Wow, when "Man from UNCLE" was on the air, I did so want to be like Napolean Solo..... He was just so cool, especially under when he and Illya Kuryakin were under pressure.

Whether they meant to or not, actors like Robert Vaughn influenced so many people, especially children. Many made career choices based on the role models actors like Robert Vaughn played.

I was a big fan . He was indeed a role model during his "Man from UNCLE" television series.
I remember I always wanted that pistol he used in the series. --Tyr
