Happy for the Cubs & fans, a long time coming! I was at Shea when the Met's won in 69 and the place was crazy with excitement & relief, I'm sure the feelings in Chicago were ~5x that.

Today is parade day! The transit system is a mess. They did dye the Chicago River Cubs Blue though!

The parade is scheduled to step off late Friday morning at Wrigley Field, lead the celebration down the Magnificent Mile and culminate with a rally at Hutchinson Field in Grant Park.

That was a helluva game 7. Outside of my own team (Dodgers), I think that was the best game 7 win I've ever witnessed!! And then add it in that it was the Cubs kicking 108 years to the curb... was just great. They earned it. :)

The Chicago River is usually a putrid green, though not as polluted as most rivers. On St. Patrick's they turn it Kelly Green, today it is Cubbie Blue:
