Having been a subscriber to "Foreign Policy" for some time, I can attest that their reputation for objectivity and accuracy is untarnished. For the first time in their history of publication, they are endorsing a candidate for President.

The editors consider Trump to be a profound threat to the Republic and are making this endorsement to make "clear the great magnitude of the threat that a Donald Trump presidency would pose to the United States".

The list of reasons Trump is so unsuitable is " so long that it is, in fact, shocking that he is a major party’s candidate for the presidency". However, when you consider the political base he is appealing to this comes as no surprise. But, for the sake of argument, let's examine some of them.

His fear mongering and fanning the flames of intolerance against the Muslim community in this country and around the world.
His wilful ignorance and denial of the facts of climate science and change.
What the editors describe as, "a delusional and narcissistic view of the world"
On more than one occasion, he has denigrated the US military and intelligence communities.
He has demonstrated a profoundly derisive attitude towards the rule of law

These, and many other issues, highlight Trump's unfitness to hold the office of President.

In their endorsement of Clinton, they cite her years of public service, her ability to bridge the differences on both sides of the political spectrum and her work ethic as well as "in foreign-policy and national security issues — all of the areas we cover here at FP — one of the best qualified candidates (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-20874451) this country has produced since World War II"

I view this election as who will run our mob. The choice is like voting for Lucky Luciano or Crazy Joe Gallo. Either way the outcome will be criminal.

Hillary is a CFR Council on foreign relations player.
Foreign Policy Mag is an promoter of the same globalist political elites and high finance IMF types that deal in pseudo-imperialism and hate nation states, and unmonopolized markets. Where both the Republican and Democratic establishment merge and agree.

Trump seems to be a real threat to their apple cart.
too bad he's a threat to the whole show.
