Nancy Pelosi Suggests Gun Control Vote Could ‘Save 90 Lives’

I wonder what Pelosi says about the CRIMINALS out there shooting people? Does she think gun regulations will stop them? Is she also pressuring and pushing people for changes in Chicago? Hell, has she and her cohorts visited Chicago? She's full of shit is what she is, and an idiot to boot.

These idiots are going to make a full court press for gun regulations. I thought it funny, originally, when folks talked about buying up ammo and guns, thinking we, our country, would never see the day. But I'm changing my tune, wondering what I should get just in case. Can you only imagine if Hillary wins AND the left takes control of congress? Yikes.

During attempts to shame House Republican leadership into allowing a vote on more gun control, Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi asked on Wednesday how the GOP could ignore laws that could “save 90 lives.”

The Democrats are trying to get Republicans to schedule a vote before Congress goes into recess and makes the failed June 22 gun control sit-in even more of a distant memory.

According to NBC News, Pelosi said:

We have a little time to save lives. What more important thing does any of us have to do than to stay here and pass a law to save lives? Somebody said to you, you could save 90 lives by passing a bill today, wouldn’t you do that? Or why wouldn’t you do that? Why wouldn’t you do that.

If any nation on earth could be said to have stringent gun control legislation, it's here in Britain. We have some of the toughest laws on gun ownership to be found anywhere. We've had them for decades. Here, gun ownership is not a basic 'right' at all.

Gun crime has almost doubled since Labour came to power as a culture of extreme gang violence has taken hold.
The latest Government figures show that the total number of firearm offences in England and Wales has increased from 5,209 in 1998/99 to 9,865 last year - a rise of 89 per cent.

In some parts of the country, the number of offences has increased more than five-fold. In eighteen police areas, gun crime at least doubled.

The statistic will fuel fears that the police are struggling to contain gang-related violence, in which the carrying of a firearm has become increasingly common place.

Last week, police in London revealed they had begun carrying out armed patrols on some streets. The move means officers armed with sub-machine guns are engaged in routine policing for the first time.
