I don't know her. I don't think I ever even heard her name prior to maybe last month? I wouldn't condemn her for not writing it, not unless I know that for sure. And even then, like MOST hosts, she read what was given to her, and did a damn good job of it. But do you KNOW she didn't write it for sure? But it does feel like a Steven Smith rant, who I can't stand by the way. And no, it's not "enough said". Sure, feel free to toss away the way she said it and all that crap - but the majority of it, the facts, are simply spot on.

And she sure as hell doesn't hurt on the eyes! :)

When we were growing up, Mom was the weaker one and let us get away with more things. So going to her to tell on one another didn't really get met with any type of harsh punishment. But now with Dad, that's different. He was harsh at times, but he was always fair. He believed in a good old fashioned spanking when it was deserved. And I deserved a few of them. :laugh:

Good for all of them!! I knew the Steelers wouldn't, as their offensive lineman, Alejandro Villanueva, served 3 tours of duty in Iraq/Afghan before signing with the Steelers. He was in the 1st Ranger Battalion and was awarded the Bronze Star, National Service defense medal, Afghanistan Campaign medal...Along with several others. Mike Tomlin, the coach, said the team has a very high level of respect for him, and none would disrespect him.

And THAT nails it, IMO - the disrespect is not just to the flag/anthem, but also to those who served.

That also shows the CLASS of both of those teams and organizations. I know Alejandro is a Vet, and also
know the Redskins sponsor and support military families, Vets, Wounded Warriors, LE, throughout D.C., Virginia,
and Maryland. Steelers are no different on their turf!

And it appears that's a horrible shooting, and if so that person or they should be convicted and sent up river, no doubt about that. But let's not act like Kaepernick is somehow protesting this stuff. There's endless ways he can do so AND be heard, but he chose an offensive route, and no one has heard any message at all, other than chaos and controversy from it.

Of course it is - but c'mon, think about what folks like Kap can do with $20 million per year. Full page ads non-stop. He could make personal appearances all over. He can band together with other players. Do commercials. Use his money for various positive programs. If his goal is to bring attention, then I would say YES, there are tons and tons of better ways. Since this whole thing started, including the main stream media - YOU are the first person that I've seen somehow bring discussion out of this. Up until now it's been nothing but negativity and controversy and disrespect. Folks aren't too interested in discussion when someone is shitting on the flag, the anthem and fallen soldiers in order to start that conversation.

No, and he didn't deserve to die. BUT, especially in today's world, one would need to be a special kind of stupid in order to not get down when the police are coming at you with guns raised. No, that doesn't mean one needs to die, but it CAN show the stupidity in some. From what I've seen so far, there should easily be a special investigation and charges, unless there is something I'm missing on the bodycam.

She was still 100% spot on with her comments. I'm sure her comments offended some folks, so they need to hate on her in return, instead of the topic and the controversy.

And yet, after all of this time since this crap started - it started a discussion of making fun of Tomi Lahren. As I've stated many times, he went about it all wrong and ain't no one listening, only taking digs at one another. Kap failed.
