We've got about five acres. Both front and back. The part shown is where we pasture the pony.

It used to be farmland, where the water is gathered are old irrigation ditches.

On the plus side, we have small catfish in those ditches now. The neighbor's pond has overflowed onto our property, giving us a batch of them. No size worth eating so the egrets will have a field day (lol)

Just catch for fun! Get some chicken livers and have at it, the catfish love that stuff!!

Thanks! We like it here, but we're thinking about "cashing in" and buying a smaller place on the coast & a place in Maine. :salute:
