So the story goes, they were apparently pulled over, fake police showed their fake badges and robbed the 4 swimmers. Lochte made it worse by telling his Mother, and then going on the news and telling the same.
Turns out they were caught on film, damaging a bathroom at a gas station, inside and outside and Lochte paid the owner since they were caught on-site and apparently held at gun point. Idiots. I guess they figured they could make up a story and the shitty station wouldn't have caught them on film. But EVERYTHING is on film these days. And now they say Lochte will lose between $5-15 million in endorsements.
