So this sits in the gift shop beneath the Shady Maple restaurant. The price is VERY reasonable. I can't get anything like this by me - ever.
So, did I, or didn't I? Is this now in my home somewhere? :)

What the hell IS it? (Disclaimer: I am not now nor have I ever been ...except for when I was married and living in Houston.... anywhere near being a football fan, and even then it was the Oilers all the way, all the time).

It's a mini refrigerator!! It works in wall outlets, and also has a cord to plug it into a car outlet while traveling. :)

You did.
The question is, have you told your wife yet?

I thought for sure you would be the observant one to say "no".
Hell, if I DID buy it, I would have posted actual pics of it in my room and truck and bragged about it!! :)
Then again, if I DID buy it, and DID tell the woman, it wouldn't be available for photos as it would either a) be on it's way back to where I bought it, or b) it would be in the garbage, or even worse c) I would be dead

I figured you did because you were sans the Mrs.
It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission...
Hell, I'd have done it. Then I would have told the Mrs. that if she didn't want me doing shit like that she shouldn't let me leave the house with a credit card...

Problem is, if I tell her that excuse - the Amex would be cut in half within seconds!!
But give it time, just some time, you WILL see actual pictures someday. :)

You're lucky I don't have her number. I'd rat you out in a second. I don't get to pull off crap like that.
Can't wait to hear how you explain it. Hope she kicks your ass. :slap:

Oooo, a different size!! The size of that one is actually smaller, I just "assumed" it was a one size fits all. That one holds like 24 12oz drinks, the other over 80. But hell, I just want it for a few drinks and to show off!! And we have a Prime amazon account too...

Damn. How much of that $300 is purely for the logo? lol

You shouldn't have found this. I'm debating right now, should I send the wife the link and beg? Or should I just add to cart, buy it - use YOUR earlier excuse, and then blame you too!

Oh come now. You really gonna tell us that you don't have your own private Al Bundyish man cave, complete with BigUns wallpaper, with that cooler sitting in it? Surrrrre!

Probably like $59 for the fridge and the rest for the sticker logo that will peel off within the first 6 months!

You're dead. Are you bequeathing the board to anyone in particular? Crap I bought a lousy weight bench and you'd have thought I nailed Christ to the cross. I never buy anything for myself. But we can spend $100 on dinner.
Just bend over. If you're a man, and a tree falls in the forest, it is still your fault?

Sorry Jim, but if that thing appeared in my house, it would be relegated to the garage.

Uh huh. You put some Giant's crap in my house and I hope you like fires in the back yard cuz there's going to be one. Only reason they ain't the worst dirtbags is because someone invented the Deadskins.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA come on guys! Suck it up! If you want it, have room for it, and can afford it, buy it! I ask my wife's opinion and then do what I want. I've always had the attitude that she'll get over it or she won't. That's up to her. I did pass on the billiard lounge in the front room when she started crying at the thought of it though. If it's that distressing for her I won't do it but I do have a nice coffee grinder collection going in our dining room. She doesn't much like it but she has her own craft room that I built for her.

Sure she'll get over it. Doesn't mean we can't give Jim grief about it. If you don't know by now if it says "Steelers" Jim's going to figure out a way to get it, you're living in a different world that the rest of us.

Is vs was. A clear indicator that you did not come home with fridge. My thinking is, why would you need a fridge for your room that you already keep at the temperature of a refrigerator?

That's funny, and true! But even though I keep the dial at 60, the temp seems to hover around 70, not nearly cold enough for my bottled water and other drinks! But that was a great catch with the writing!!!
And truth be told, I already have a mini fridge in this room. But it's not a Steelers fridge!! And it won't work in my truck while traveling. :)
