Abbey. I listened, not bad for the present I guess. But civilians seem to be dedicated to aircraft carriers, the planes, and how big they are while...The rest of the members, and ships of the navy are easily ignored, if not forgotten. Few people understand what supports, and protections exist in the background of keeping ships like carriers at sea. Millions of plain old sailors go unnoticed, or seem forgotten by those who think the Carriers are king. In fact, few Americans have any concepts of how many ships of different kinds, and thousands of people make the operation of a carrier possible.
In my 30 years, most of the attention always went to carriers, and planes. But I grew up listening to dedicated music that told the story of EVERYBODY in uniform at sea.
So, if anyone is looking for the BEST.....Take a listen to this:

Agreed on the orchestral over vocal but I think Gunny nailed that one. I have the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack on CD. The soundtrack to Braveheart was also pretty decent.

I have the opening music from Hell on Wheels for the ringer on my phone. I go back and forth between that and the opening to Justified without vocals.
