Kid uses word 'brownies' to talk treats; School calls POLICE over "Racist" words

So from what i can tell, a kid said he'd serve brownies at school. School called police - who turned the 'case' over to New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

I tell ya folks - this is one more sign of how fucked-up our nation has become. Run. Get away from the big cities. Things will get only worse. I think I'd like the parents to sue and get MILLIONS of dollars as punishment to the school AND the police. F'ing New Jersey.



On June 16, police were called to an unlikely scene: an end-of-the-year class party at the William P. Tatem Elementary School in Collingswood.

A third grader had made a comment about the brownies being served to the class. After another student exclaimed that the remark was "racist," the school called the Collingswood Police Department, according to the mother of the boy who made the comment.

The police officer spoke to the student, who is 9, said the boy's mother, Stacy dos Santos, and local authorities.

Dos Santos said that the school overreacted and that her son made a comment about snacks, not skin color.

"He said they were talking about brownies. . . . Who exactly did he offend?" dos Santos said.

The boy's father was contacted by Collingswood police later in the day. Police said the incident had been referred to the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency. The student stayed home for his last day of third grade.

Dos Santos said that her son was "traumatized," and that she hopes to send him to a different Collingswood public school in the fall.

Why shouldn't people be racist? When you use your skin color as an excuse to make dumbass accusations, I'm firing back. If you want to call that racism, go for it. Over a freakin' brownie. What color are brownies? Brown. Are they people? No.

Brownies are actually mythical Celtic characters. And they're Scandinavian, not African. Funny how the police are quick to respond to this but it takes hours if someone breaks into you truck and steals a thousand dollars worth of tools.

I'm looking at other countries to live in, not cities.

We pointed out decades ago -when they took prayer and corporal punishment out of schools that it would come to this.
But we were called fools and idiots that blew it all out of proportion and how our slippery slope argument was utter stupidity, etc..

Consider this--schools are to call police in for criminal actions --not a child disobeying school policy/rules..
Now they think school policies are laws --subject to criminal actions !!

Now lets say the kid ACTUALLY DID SAY the dreaded N-word-- "niggers"-- is that now a criminal offense??
APPARENTLY SCHOOL OFFICIALS THINK IT IS..
FOLKS-- THIS IS PROOF THAT THESE SUMBIATCHES ARE CRAZY AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IN WHAT THEY INTEND ON IMPLEMENTING WHEN THEY GET ENOUGH CONTROL.

My granddaughters go to private school and we ALL chip in. I wouldn't put them in public school nowadays for nothing.

Justin goes into private Christian school this coming term. They also have patriotic posters and etc there. Fully acknowledging the part Christianity played in founding this nation.
That and to be very close to where my daughter and grandkids live are the main two reasons I chose to move to another state....
I also now live out in the country not within any city limits.
And got Justin a great dog as a pet--a Cairn terrier.
I want him to see and experience a bit of how I grew up-away from city life, etc..
My grandchildren attend that same private school and yes we are taking money out of our savings to do this every year from now until he finishes school.-- --Tyr

I agree ith you and DMP on this one. Get out of the damned cities. And the private school my granddaughters go to has a sanctuary right across the sidewalk. :)

brownies off the shelves for fear of offending someone.
