View Full Version : Dems Acting Like Babies ... Again

Looks like the Dems are having a sleepover in the Capitol because they aren't getting their way over their knee-jerk reaction to the latest shooting.
Here's a plan stupid Dems: Grow up. If you quit letting these f*ckers in, they can't shoot anyone.
You cut your own junk off, don't come crying to me we need to regulate paring knives.

So let me get this straight. The Republicans want to offer a compromise Bill because they believe in due process. The Dems are overreacting like they usually do. I remember when they did this crap in TX and ran off to a motel on OK.
I believe in due process. But our system is broken. What are they even arguing about? The Federal government doesn't enforce the laws we have on the books. What's another law going to mean? Words on paper. We don't need new immigration laws. Enforce the ones we have. Duh.

We are safer as a country while they are sitting there whining. They aren't subverting our Constitution, they're just whining about their inability to subvert it.

I thought the whole thing was childish grandstanding when the Republicans did the same thing in 2008 and I think it is the same now.
I can't think of any member of the House that doesn't need to be replaced in November.

The Dem's have staged far more 'sit-ins' and 'walk-outs' that the Repubs.
In your above example, the Dems were more concerned about going on 'break' than attending
to what they were elected for: To attend to the Business of State and their constituents.

So who's counting? It's all idiocy. Stop acting like children and do your job.
Ellesar, let me ask you a question. Let's say you and a few coworkers decided you don't like some new company regulations and proceeded to lay down in the middle of the floor in protest. What would happen to you?

The exit sign would be pointed out to you, and you'd be advised not to let the door hit you on your way out.

Again, Civilian mind vs. Military. Wrong entity to ask such a thing.
For one, I would not fathom getting involved in a protest when I was Active Duty (AD) or even as
a Civilian Employee (GS-11).
A lot of things came across the board that I did not agree with, as a fully professional specialist.
I addressed them through my Chain-of-Command, and usually with good results or breaking even.
AD...I would be busted down and possibly put in the Brig for breaking my Oath.
GS-11...I would have been fired, because I had to take an Oath for that as well.
Now, even retired, I refuse to get involved with a protest.

Sorry, elessar, I thought you had a civilian job now. My point was that our elected officials should do their job and quit trying to advance their own personal goals. What was wrong in 2008 is still wrong in 2016.

I guess it is different when Republicans are the ones sitting on the House floor. Right?
http://www.politico.com/blogs/politico-now/2008/08/house-dems-turn-out-the-lights-but-gop-keeps-talking-010724
"This is the people's House," said Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.). "This is not Pelosi's politiburo."
Democratic aides were furious at the GOP stunt, and reporters were kicked out of the Speaker's Lobby, the space next to the House floor where they normally interview lawmakers.
"You're not covering this, are you?" complained one senior Democratic aide. Another called the Republicans "morons" for staying on the floor.

Focus. Here and now. Why is it all you lefties can do is refer to the past when it comes to Republicans; yet, you can't learn anything from it? Every time we have a Dem in office we repeat history. And I had to Windex my TV screen this morning O-blah-blah was whining and crying so hard.
Perfect example is Iraq. You start a war, then protest it, then pull out before finishing he job.

Preaching to the choir, ma'am. He's an insult to the office and this country and stands for nothing it was founded on. Now they want to replace him with a criminal. I wish I knew where these people hid their stupid buttons so I could switch them off.

All products of our liberal ran/controlled, inspired and created public education system.
Institutionalized ignorance and graduated as educated and brilliant by the college professors.
I was far more educated than those idiots by 6th grade in 1966.. and unlike most I read every day, educating myself more--have done so since
graduating in 1973..
The main reason that I collect books..
These voting idiots just may vote in our national destruction...by way of electing that corrupt, dishonorable piece of shit..
If so-- we get exactly what we deserve....
If we ever have a civil war--I hope that most of the raving liberal morons that brought it upon on us--suffer totally unimaginable misery and deaths... ffing maggots..... Tyr
