NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney took aim at Democratic rivals on Sunday, calling them all unprepared to lead the country and comparing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's economic plan to that of Socialist Karl Marx.
"It would be helpful to have a person leading the country who understands how the economy works and has actually managed something," the former Massachusetts governor told reporters after a GOP fundraiser. "In the case of the three Democratic front-runners, not one of them has managed even a corner store, let alone a state or a city."

It's okay Karl, hyperbole is the order of the day in electoral politics. Of course any connecton between Karl Marx (the dead one) and Hilary Clinton is purely in Romney's totally fevered imagination. He knows that his constituents don't have a clue what Marx ( the dead one, no I don't mean Groucho) was on about but he knows that Marx (no, not Chico) tossed into the mix will scare the crap out of them good, God-fearing (the real God, not that weird Mormon God) voters, so in it goes.
By the way how are the boils on your arse? You know that Karl wrote "Kapital" standng up in the British Library because he couldn't zit down don't youi? :laugh2:

I don't suppose Karl, the dead one, can in any way defend himself. I don't think he would even care to do so in this context!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Karl was a bit of a lad. He bonked the housekeeper and the word is he produced offspring with her - I think it was the first split in Marxism :laugh2: His Mrs, Jenny, was not impressed at all apparently, considering she'd left her aristocratic German family to marry this swarthy man who was booted out of everywhere in Europe until the Brits took him in and his good mate Engels made sure he was never short of a quid, given that Engels' family owned cotton mills in northern England.
And he really did write "Kapital" standing up! He had terrible anal fissures (hey George, you and Karl have something in common - no, not Rove, Karl Marx - yeah the dead one, that's right). No wonder he looks grumpy in his later photos :D

Do you even know what Karl Marx taught? I think Romney is right on point. Because anyone who listens to Hillary knows she is a hard core socialist.
People who read Marx are socialists. People who understand him are anti socialist.

And there is yet another similiarity between Marx and Hillary... she plans to boink the American people once she is elected chairman... er President
almost like Deja Vu
but there will be one major difference... Karl Marx couldn't keep his hand out of his housekeeper's blouse and Hillary won't be able to keep her hand out of our wallets

Ronald Reagan I think? Am I right? The one-liner I mean about people reading Marx and people understanding him. Load of crap of course. Yes I've read Marx, I've read Marx, Marx and Engels and I've read Lenin and Trotsky and I've read Marcuse and I've read Habermas and I've read - enuff eh? You get the picture. I've read Proudhon and I've read Saint-Simon. But no, that's enuff of that. If you think Clinton H is anywhere near Marx K then you as well as Romney M need your head read.

You Americans and your wallets. You're a tight-fisted mob aren't you? Fuck everyone else as long as you've got yours. Well what if you're the poor bastard without any?
"Buddy, can you spare a dime?"
"No, fuck off!"

More like self-love - a big wank :laugh2: Keep telling yourself that. But conservative policies of "tough love" nearly always work to bring people out of poverty, while liberal policies of handouts merely serve to keep the poor voting for the handers. Based on these realities, who really cares about the poor?

The joke is on you my poor deluded friend
FYI... check to see how many hundreds of billions of dollars Americans give in charity each year....
we are the largest givers to charity on the planet and in history (in absolute and on a per capita basis)
we rebuilt Europe, Japan and are the first to rush aid overseas....
What we don't pay in taxes to help others, we pay for out of our own pockets.

You have to do it privately because your govenment, especially under the Grover Norquists, basically say, "fuck off" to anyone who asks for help.
Get your hand off your dick with rebuilding Europe. The Marshall Plan was brilliant. It wouldn't have happened without those nasty Soviets though. But it was a brilliant piece of work. Same for Japan, brilliant work. Now they own you though. Like irony do you?

You do have a twisted view of reality. The US government spends billions in foreign aid. American citizens spend even more. Damn ingrate.

I think it was Louis XIV who said (going from memory here) "I have a hundred supplicants, I grant the supplication to one, I incur one ingrate and ninety-nine enemies".
Now given that it's clear you can't win sometimes. The US spends billions of dollars in foreign aid because it chooses to and it sends it where it thinks it wil have the best effect for its foreign policy objectives. Do I have a problem with that? No. Everyone does it!
I am not a supplicant fo the US govt and I never have been. That's because I've been lucky. Now, please understand that your nation gives out aid because it thinks it will gain an advantage. Just like every other nation does. Mine included.
Spare me the bullshit about aid from the US going somewhere because you are really nice people. On the whole you are, your problem is that you/ve got a couple of dickheads in the White House which is why the rest of us are a bit annoyed with you. But your aid, like ours in Aus, goes to where we think it will give us an advantage.

Hello to the lurkers. See that? It's the best they have. Do you want to support a bunch of dumbarses who have no idea about policy formulation beyond Rushbo's talking points or are you going to vote for someone who has a clue? :) An inquiring world would like to know. Of course you are at liberty to vote in another fuckwit, no problemo, we'll roll with it, and sort of erase you from the equation if you like. But if you want to get back into the real world and not some sort computer game that's going on in Bush's head then that's fine, wei'll all be happy to discuss it with you.

There is nothing charitable about giving away another person's money. Here is a crazy idea, instead of demanding government steal soemone elses money to give to the poor, you give to the poor yourself?
And if you are the Poor B****** without money you get a job and work you butt off.

You really like ignoring reality?
but that doesn't matter. The idea that government is required to take money from people to help others out is insulting and degrading to any human being. Charity doesnt come from government giving away other peoples money. it comes from giving away your own. You it seems, would prefer the government give away someone elses money so you can call yourself charitable but you refuse to give of your own.
And we are the selfish ones. Ironic no?

Im starting to think Mitt's moves this week to aggressively go after the Democrats this week was pretty smart. From what i hear from the debate, he was the only Republican they were focusing on. Ironically that gets the democrats out there putting his name out there and people are going to be asking "Who is he if he has the Democrat frontrunners so worried?"
Seriously it was brilliant.

Just out of curiosity but why do you like Romney so much?
A number of reasons. The man is an effective leader. Well articulate, gets things done. Has a strong reputation for cleaning up messes. And our government is a mess. Not because of the President, but because its been bloated and out of control for the past 70 years.
Ive seen what he did with the Olympics and he has done a pretty good job with Massachusetts. he understands economics. has strong conservative values. Absolutely no skeletons or baggage as i see it. I agree with him on a number of the issues and i believe he can actually do some things I know we need to get done.
And unless there is something I dont know about, I dont think the Democrats can possible attack him for anything and make it stick.
