A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen asked active duty and retired U.S. military members what they thought about 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
As it turns out, their opinion of the former Secretary of State and First Lady was not very good.
An overwhelming 81% viewed her unfavorably. That included a whopping 69% who had a “Very Unfavorable” impression of her.
Only an anemic 15% of military members had a favorable impression of her.
Ouch. If you can’t get the military to stand behind you, what kind of Commander in Chief do you think you are going to be?
No doubt, Clinton only has herself to blame for the antipathy the military has for her.
When talking to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow not long ago, Clinton downplayed the scandals that plague the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“I don’t understand why we have such a problem,” she callously told Maddow. “There have been a number of surveys of veterans and overall, veterans who do get treated are satisfied with their treatment.”
Of course, she didn’t speak for those vets who never received treatment… probably because many of them died while waiting, so they weren’t able to weigh in. Besides, they don’t vote.

I hesitate to speak on this subject with people who don't know me. I never want to be considered that wife who wears her husband's rank or thinks she knows things because of her husband's job. But, I do, indeed, know some things because of my husband's job. ;)
He is no longer in the job but knows some who are. I'm going to speak in the past tense because that's mostly what I know. I do have some contact with a current agent on the presidential detail but that's a different president. :whistling2:

Agents who worked with the Clintons hate the Clintons. All of them. The Clintons were terrible to their detail and just about everyone else around them. There was corruption like never seen before, then threats made to any agent who may have been in the room and witnessed it.
I know too many stories of bullying and verbal abuse. I can imagine that the Clintons are beside themselves at the thought of what is in the book. Bill is a pedophile and a rapist. Hillary stood by and said nothing. Those last two sentences are not my opinion but came from the mouth of someone on their detail.

My friend, who is currently on the presidential detail, says he will quit and knows of many others who say they will as well if Hillary is elected.

First hand experience and/or knowledge means an awful lot, especially when coming from someone who wasn't running around making claims, but rather asked out of the blue. I also did a lot of reading since I made this thread this morning. It's not even just about this book or just Byrne. It turns out there is a lot of hatred towards BOTH Clintons, based on their words and actions when "they" were president. And I think this scab will be picked at, and whatever is true and provable will be turned up and down during the campaign.

A new lawsuit has revealed the extent of former President Clinton's friendship with a fundraiser who was later jailed for having sex with an underage prostitute.

Bill Clinton's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who served time in 2008 for his illegal sexual partners, included up multiple trips to the onetime billionaire's private island in the Caribbean where underage girls were allegedly kept as sex slaves.

The National Enquirer has released new details about the two men's friendship, which seems to have ended abruptly around the time of Epstein's arrest.

Tales of orgies and young girls being shipped to the island, called Little St. James, have been revealed as part of an ongoing lawsuit between Epstein and his former lawyers Scott Rothstein and Bradley Edwards.

It is unclear what the basis of the suit is, but they go on to call witness testimony from some of the frequent guests at Epstein's island to talk about the wild parties that were held there in the early 2000s.

Flight logs pinpoint Clinton's trips on Epstein's jet between the years 2002 and 2005, while he was working on his philanthropic post-presidential career and while his wife Hillary was a Senator for their adopted state of New York.

'I remember asking Jeffrey what's Bill Clinton doing here kind fo thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me a favor,' one unidentified woman said in the lawsuit, which was filed in Palm Beach Circuit Court.

The woman went on to say how orgies were a regular occurrence and she recalled two young girls from New York who were always seen around the five-house compound but their personal backstories were never revealed.

At least one woman on the compound was there unwillingly, as the suit identifies a woman as Jane Doe 102.

She 'was forced to live as one of Epstein's underage sex slaves for years and was forced to have sex with... politicians, businessmen, royalty, academicians, etc,' the lawsuit says according to The Enquirer.

Epstein's sexual exploits have been documented since 2005, when a woman in Palm Beach contacted police saying that her 14-year-old daughter had been paid $300 to massage him and then have sex.

The claim prompted a nearly year-long investigation that led to the eventual charge of soliciting prostitution which came as part of a plea deal. He spent 13 months of a 18-month sentence in jail and remains a registered sex offender.
