There are very few reasons for anyone to go to Baltimore, but this is certainly one of them.
On Saturday, August 27, you can see perhaps the greatest band that few have ever heard of, Crack The Sky, headlining the second annual Pier Six Wounded Warrior Benefit Concert.
CTS is one of my dad's all time favorite bands. I was pretty much raised on their music. Their songs are well written and full of sardonic wit.
I have never seen them, since they haven't toured in 30 years. They play a few times a year in the Baltimore-D.C. area. I might see if I can make it for this one. A good show for a great cause.

Will you stand by me against the cold night,
Or are you afraid of the ice?
