USMB is huge because the owner cross-advertises to his gaming boards. That's why no one on there knows a damned thing about politics. I fought that the last couple of years. But the owner is in the board business and doesn't care about politics. The theme of the board. He's just making money. I built it up and he bought it and it's gone to brain dead, IMO.
