In four days, comes the one year anniversary of this creative writing forum.
Appears to be a well received oddity here and has over 62,000 views in a bit less than a year.
I want to thank both Jim and DMP for first getting me involved in this enterprise ..
I had hoped for more creative writers to become involved but one must take what one gets in life.
SLAMMING THIS OUT WITH NO EDITS..
What A Man Makes He Must Live With
A man makes in life what he will,
grabs the joy and the bad he should just kill
No pain is greater than beloved family lost
we that endured such, know the high cost
I hold out hope that my soul will one day see
goodness spread like a magnificent tree
Yet such comes not with a man-made pill
and evil lurks behind every dark hill
So be as brave and honorable as one can be
race to port from a stormy sea
When safe shelter can not thus be found
stand, fight and mow the bastards down..
Words in a overall theme my father taught to me,
I a mere seed, of his magnificent, tough and brave tree.

will now edit to add this quote---
