If Trump only hits them one-tenth as hard as they fear he will, then I'll be a happy camper because the other choice -hildabeast or communist bernie
will do an obama on steroids thus destroying this nation in less than 5/6 years IMHO.-TYR

Donald Trump sweeps all five states: April 26 primaries

<aside>
Donald Trump went five-for-five in easily sweeping a set of northeastern primaries Tuesday, moving ever closer to the Republican presidential nomination in the face of allied opposition from rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich.

"This is a far bigger win than we even expected ... all five," Trump said in claiming easy wins in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Delaware.

Citing a high number of delegates and votes in face of Republican establishment opposition, the maverick businessman said "the best way to beat the system is to have an evening like this."

Cruz and Kasich, who have formed a loose alliance to try to block Trump in future contests, are hoping to pick up some delegates after Tuesday's primaries, but their totals will likely be minimal in the wake of Trump's landslide wins

Cruz, headed for a third-place finish behind Kasich in some of Tuesday's contests, dismissed the results even before they were announced, reminding supporters in Indiana that the northeast is Trump's home region. The Texas senator said his campaign now "moves back to more favorable terrain," starting next week in Indiana and ending June 7 in California.

From comments:

~ "Since the rest of the field is now mathematically eliminated, any attempt to keep Trump from the nomination is necessarily an effort to deny and undermine the will of the majority of voters.
I never wanted Trump for the nominee, but always recognized he was a legit candidate due the same support as any other if he/she held a commanding lead this far into the race.

What would the supporters of any of the other candidates, particularly Cruz, expect of the rest of Republicans if their chosen candidate had this kind of lead now? From here on out, it should be about the general election, defeating Hillary, the Clinton Machine, the DNC. I sincerely hope the #neverTrump'ers can see this." ~

Little late for that, don't you think? It should have been about defeating the Dems from the start instead of beating on each other. The whole GOP process is a failure from the start.
I honestly believe the right is too divided to win. I personally can't stand Trump. At the same time, I can't say as I can stand ANY of the candidates for either party. It's like could we possibly pick 5 bigger losers? It's like watching Impractical Jokers (which I can't stand).

However, the GOP process itself is a fail. The Dems will unite. Conservatives won't.
