1) There's doubt that he will nominate and lobby to be confirm a reliable conservative to the Supreme Court.
2) There's yuuuge doubt that he can beat Clinton in the general election.
3) Trump has the temperament to use the IRS and other government agencies for political and abusive purposes.

#1 I honestly have no doubt at all that he would nominate a good judge on the right. And just like we're seeing now, it takes more than just the nomination to get someone through anyway.
#2 worries me as well. I have similar doubt about Cruz, but Cruz matches up better, based on current polls. Kasich polls the best. I think they would all change in a head to head battle. But I do agree, but on this one mostly on pure numbers.
Anyone facing her scares me. Her running scares me. I guess I'm biased. But I can't imagine having to see her daily. Listening to that screeching of hers for years. Watching her lie, which she will in fact do on a daily basis. :puke:

1. He's a bully.
2. He's a crybaby.
3. The only one I DON'T see him doing is your #3. He'd have to have an actual plan for that one to happen.

1. He's a bully.
And this addresses the issue in no way at all.
2. He's a crybaby.
Once again. An important issue was mentioned and you prefer to vomit out stuff that has nothing to do with what he mentioned. I think how Trump would fare against Hillary is a decent subject, and not to just be dismissed. And the same applies if it's Cruz. Neither can be dismissed so easily. Nor just tossing in "crybaby", which has nothing to do with the general election that I'm aware of.
3. The only one I DON'T see him doing is your #3. He'd have to have an actual plan for that one to happen.
I suppose you could call this an answer to number three. But the Trump is dumb, he has no plans or Trump is a crybaby stuff kinda gets old. But whatever.

Kasich is a 3 legged horse in this race. He wont get the nod because he lacks the delegates. The time for Kasich was 6 months ago when it really mattered. To really step out and shine. Thats over now. To give Kasich the nod implodes the Party.
Same for Cruz. His attacks on Trump make him seem like a petulant entitled child. And he has no where near the Votes.
As for Trump... Overbearing, obnoxious, argumentative and a lack of regal bearing. A good Manager but the personality of a bar room brawler.. his attack on Cruz are beneath the actions of a leading Candidate.
Anyone that has kept this CRUZ/TRUMP Debate going has literally handed the election to the Libs.
I stil haven't endorsed anyone...
I may just write in @WiccanLiberal (http://www.debatepolicy.com/member.php?u=2277) with Limberbutt Mcubbins as the VP
better than getting down in the mud with the candidates we have and their ridiculous supporters. Yes that goes for all the Cruz-Bots and Trump-Bots on here that keep trying to fight it out that only THEIR man is capable of handling the job...
Geaux-Cruz?
Go Trump?
Go Kasich?
How about this....
Go look at the damage you have all done and find a damn way to f-ing fix it in 6 months.
Oh... and if you Cruz Bots think you win in a Brokered Convention... you're wrong.. Do that and you'll end up with Trump on the Independent line and the Democrats still win..
Dumb-asses... every last one of you that kept this going... So convinced in your own self righteousness that you destroyed what was left of the GOP's credibility...
After this year...I am registering as an Independent.

Not entirely true. I liked all of the candidates. Sure, I had a few front runners, and then settled in on Trump. I didn't engage in any war on any other candidates. So bite me.

V4R has often asked how I can support Democratic party candidates. My answer has been, and looks to remain, that the Republican party needs to stop catering to the religious right and other extreme elements. Put up a candidate who espouses both a spirit of responsible and economical government, strong foreign policy and a commitment to keep out of our bedrooms and other personal business. Then see how many Democrats come running to get away from the circus that our party has become. The major parties have lost sight of what the majority of people really want. Simply we want a government that actually works and protects us internally and externally and does not unnecessarily intrude into our lives.

I'm curious as how you define and WHO you are defining. Speaking for myself, I'm not a Cruz fan. I've been against Trump since before he started running. Whether anyone likes it or not, he happens to possess just the personality traits I hate in a person.
I hardly call that a Trump/Cruz War. I liked Dr Ben and Carly and as a last resort Jeb. I WILL agree that Trump and Cruz, not you nor I -- have made a damned fiasco out of this and Trump is acting like this baby in her pac n play. However, that doesn't mean one is on one side or the other. I wrote this election off awhile ago. Doesn't mean my opinion is going to change. Just means the GOP has managed to figure out how to lose again.

1. He's a bully.
2. He's a crybaby.
This does sum him up quite well. Jim likes him being a bully because in NYC, that's how shit gets done. The biggest bully wins.
And, like any bully, challenge him to a fair fight, in this case debate, and he ends up being a cry baby.
Why is this important? Because hiring a bully to do an important job never works out to well.
And this addresses the issue in no way at all.
Once again. An important issue was mentioned and you prefer to vomit out stuff that has nothing to do with what he mentioned. I suppose you could call this an answer to number three. But the Trump is dumb, he has no plans or Trump is a crybaby stuff kinda gets old. But whatever.
I believe Trump will eat Hillary up come general election, Hillary doesn't have the smarts or the patience to deal with Trump. He will be relentless and keep reminding the people all the scandals she has been involved in, no doubt in my mind Trump would destroy Hillary , now to get the media to tell the truth .

I agree. Too may stop thinking and let the party leadership do what they like. The result is we end up with an election year when we have to choose the least bad candidate rather than someone we really want to support, who embodies values we can identify with. And since a third party is not a really viable option, those of us who have actually thought about what we want and care about the country rather than politics are left out in the cold again.

I would be 100% fired up with Ted Cruz as the nominee, he embodies my values and I completely identify with him. I care about the country and so does Ted Cruz.

I bet you're voting for Hillary in November. Since you already missed the primary election deadline and New York values guarantee Hillary will get NY in November, I will remind you that you have until October 14 to be duly registered and get on the Hillary Clinton New York values bandwagon.

I have been duly registered since 1982
As for who I am voting for...
Someone Smart, addresses the Issues and promotes the positions I agree with...
If that means I write in @WiccanLiberal (http://www.debatepolicy.com/member.php?u=2277) for President and Limberbutt McCubbins so be it...
A real witch from New York is better than the Democratic transplant from Arkansas.

I noticed you said "endorsed" instead of "voting for" (yes, I do notice such details) in other posts. That tells me you're likely NOT registered as a Republican before the October 2015 deadline to vote in this Tuesday's primary.
1) There's doubt that he will nominate and lobby to be confirm a reliable conservative to the Supreme Court.
2) There's yuuuge doubt that he can beat Clinton in the general election.
3) Trump has the temperament to use the IRS and other government agencies for political and abusive purposes.
I started out doubtful and not trusting Trump (a previously life-long Clinton-supporting Democrat) or his motives, intent and agenda. The past few months, witnessing one whine after another, one false accusation after another and one LIE about Ted Cruz after another has made me utterly detest him. And some of his supporters have also earned my disgust.
Bottom line....now I think that supporting Trump would be just as disastrous as voting for Obama, Hillary or ANY DemocRat would be for this nation. I don't trust him even more now. And that is due to Trump's own words and actions.
Our ONLY hope remaining is a real conservative leader like Ted Cruz. And even that hope is fast fading due to the dirty shenanigans both by the left and by Trump (no coincidence there).

It's interesting how things change to put someone like me and someone like yourself on the same page. My political activity has moderated over the years and decades. I used to associate with those who sympathized with abortion clinic bombings and the survivalist movement. I have belonged to churches that were very close ideologically and culturally to Westboro Baptist (except they had sense enough not to disparage the military). I credit the campaigns of Congressman Mel Hancock and Senators John Ashcroft and Jim Talent for moving me towards the center. One lesson I learned from them is not to shun those who are willing to help even if they are extreme, but to assign them to tasks where they won't bring controversy. Over time, involvement in a political campaign influences the rough edges off. You learn the lesson that winning matters and to avoid non-winning communication. Of course in an anonymous, low traffic forum like this one it's possible to relax and just type what one is thinking.

I have been registered as a Republican since I graduated High School in 1982. So you are WRONG.
as for your other tripe... Show me in the post you quoted where I used the word Endorsed... I dont see it... Would I endorse WiccanLiberal? YES, Will I write her in as a candidate in November? Maybe.
You noticed nothing... you are too short sighted to even see past your own distorted views.
I vote for the person that is most qualified and supports the most positions that I do.
you are a mindless automaton. You vote who you are told for, you dont use reason.
You're a Cruz-Bot... so sure of your candidates infallibility that you don't even see that he is acting like a petulant child that isn't getting the toy he want while he is in Wal-Mart.
Wake up... by the Numbers he is far behind Trump... Trump will destroy him in NY. Putting Trump even farther ahead.. When that happens Cruz will whine and Cry and pout and throw a hissy fit just as he has done since Day one.
Broker the convention and you end up with Trump on the Independent line and Cruz loses 2/3's of the Republican Vote. It's that simple.
But you are so far up his ass that you refuse to believe this... you are cock sure he'll win even in a 3 horse race... Guess what....Splitting the Republican Vote means that CRUZ will LOSE...
But you keep pushing for it.... I hope you get it... because when you do and Cruz loses I get to laugh at you for 4 more years because YOU got what YOU wanted..
And you'll be an even bigger loser when you do...
Ben Carson is still on the NYS Primary Ballot. If I even choose to go out and take part in this circus I will probably vote for him...
Just to thumb my nose at the dumbasses like yourself that keep pushing their own skewed views while remainin self entitled and over indulged.
Go ahead Putz... Broker the convention

So... lets hear it genius...
You get your brokered convention and what happens in your opinion?
Be honest... now you have to foretell what will happen when you get your wish...
My view...
Cruz steals the nod in a brokered convention.
Trump Stays in Race as an independent spoiler
Cruz loses to Hillary, coming in 3rd in November Far behind both Hillary who wins and Trump in Second place.
At this point neither Cruz or Trump can win by themselves...
They need to consolidate...

Cruz made the offer in the debates. If Trump wants to be President all he has to do is be Cruz's VP then have Cruz disqualified as not a natural born citizen. Can you really see Trump settling for VP? Can you really see Cruz risk giving up a safe Senate seat just to be a VP candidate for a ticket substantially down in the polls?

Cruz is 300 votes behind Trump
Cruz is in Second place
Cruz can't demand the top spot if they work together... Cruz would have to take VP Spot.
If he doesn't Trump goes Independent and everyone loses.... except Hillary..

That's a good overview, but I believe that you're overlooking the obvious
Cruz won't win in a brokered convention. The "establishment" is using Cruz a a tool to cause the brokered convention. Quite simply, they despise Cruz.
The bickering will continue, until the "establishment" takes over.
They will then anoint a candidate of their choosing, which will lose miserably to the Hildabeast

Splits the Republican vote and Hillary wins.....
