Am feeling my Army age.


Three consecutive weekends of travel have me spent.


First weekend, 15 miles walking in/around munich
Next weekend, 12 miles walking in/around paris
Last weekend, 9 miles walking in/around Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and up a mountain to Frankenstein :)
This coming weekend? Will be a success if I do not leave the upstairs portion of my house.

Am feeling my Army age.

Heck Bro wait it gets much better, 15 miles hell, I walk to the mailbox and my feet are on fire. shoot if I lay in bed all day they hurt like hell and then are on fire until they eventually go numb at night. Get to the Docs, they do have some meds (we have spoke about already) that do work, they just don't for me. I hope it gets better Darin but for now enjoy what ya can do because if it takes the path mine did those 15 mile walks are going to disappear quick.

Normally, I go north in the summer to visit my "spawn" and the Grandkids.

I'm thinking I'm going to take this summer and work the VA for help on those puppies :salute:

My knees and feet have hurt for 18 years. Almost non-stop, every day.

VA is a nutroll. I hate it. I can't get pain meds without stupid levels of check-ups and run-around. :(

I like the Tommy Cooper avatar ! (For those who won't know, Tommy Cooper was a comedian / magician, but principally a comedy act. He was British ... died a long time ago, actually collapsed and died in the middle of a performance ....).

Cept no ibuprofin for me :( vicodin/percoset helps pain. No NSAIDs for me ever :(

Just the opposite. I live on NSAIDs. No narcotics. I get WAY too happy on vicodin. I call them "Superman pills". I start thinking I'm 20 again and start trying to lift my entire weight set. Fun while it lasts but ... :laugh:
