hopefully mend some fences.
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump met Monday in Washington with congressional Republicans and other conservative leaders, attempting to forge a relationship with party leaders while urging them to “embrace this movement.”

namvet. What I fail to understand is...WHY would anyone in the GOP bother to listen to TWO TIME Loser Romney? As for JEB....same question. Members better start understanding pretty soon. If they keep opposing who may become the nominee of their party. The GOP might as well admit they are hoping HITLERY will be the next to win.
Remember how the candidates all stood on stage and SWORE to support WHOEVER is the nominee????

Every time we read or hear a story about how the Republican Party is engaged in the full court press to "stop Trump" we forget the identity of the author of "The Art Of The Deal." So far, Trump has been ten steps ahead of all his Republican competitors. (And unlike the last few elections, there have been some pretty good choices in this bunch: Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Fiorina.) He has outsmarted the entire bunch. He's practically the nominee and he has spent the least amount of money.
The GOP establishment is going to take him on, so he engages in what he does best: THE DEAL.
Have you ever noticed that this "Anti Trump" crap is a lot more acidic and vicious than the last two campaigns against Barak Saddam Hussein/

Here's the deal: If Trump goes into the convention with the largest number of delegates and has this nomination stolen from him, the Republican Party will lose control of both houses of Congress as well as the White House.
The rank and file Republican voters will just stay home.

If the GOP wanted to stop Trump, they should have done it last May. And the best way they could have is having a plan and a viable candidate. The GOP has done none of the above. Now they want to start bitching at the last minute?
