It's clear that Hillary Clinton has broken campaign finance laws as Ben Still has contributed more then the law allows. Also interesting to see that a few celeb's gave the max to a couple different candidates. Obama got all the ethnic celeb donations which is no surprise. I am surprised that Edwards and Richardson got some of the donations they did.
Now we know whos movies not to see. I didn't know Spielberg is a Liberal, that really puts a damper on his movies.

Spielberg is not just a liberal, he's a frothing at the mouth Socialist.
The guy went to Cuba and met with Fidel. He said that his meeting with Fidel was "...the eight most important hours of my life."

I assume you support white conservatives. Funny how that goes isn't it? It's no suprise that Hollywood's support goes mainly to liberal candidates.

No, I support conservatives, period. If a black conservative were running, he or she would be as likely to get my vote as any other. Condoleeza Rice, for example. Nice try.

Well, I assume most blacks would support a white liberal candidate as well, considering they usually vote democratic anyway. Your attempt to tie racism to the fact that many blacks support a black candidate is feeble at best--but is typical of your generally anti-minority argument style. Why you always gotta play the race card Abbey?

I'm white and on the last two election cycles I contributed several thousand to Vernon Robinson, a conservative candidate. Oh, and Vernon happens to be of African dissent.
As a matter of fact, the first time I did some phone work for him, before he ran for Congress, was the first time that I had met him. Until then I did not realize that he was black.

Hey, I'm white and sometimes I used to watch Martin re-runs on UPN. Oh, and Martin happens to be of African descent.
He "happens" to be black.

Robert Duvall slams Spielberg
'I'll never work at DreamWorks again'
LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) --Actor Robert Duvall probably won't be making any movies for DreamWorks any time soon.
In a CBS "60 Minutes II" interview set for broadcast Wednesday, the Oscar-winning performer sharply criticized filmmaker and DreamWorks SKG studio co-founder Steven Spielberg for visiting Cuba in November 2002.
"Spielberg went down there recently and said, 'The best seven hours I ever spent was actually with Fidel Castro.' Now, what I want to ask him, ... 'Would you consider building a little annex on the Holocaust museum, or at least across the street, to honor the dead Cubans that Castro killed.' That's very presumptuous of him to go there," Duvall told Charlie Rose, according to excerpts of the interview released by CBS.
The actor, who won an Academy Award for his role in the 1983 film "Tender Mercies," added, "I'll never work at DreamWorks again, but I don't care about working there anyway."
Spielberg's spokesman, Marvin Levy, responded by issuing a statement saying the remark Duvall attributed to the director about his meeting with Castro is "totally false."
"He never said it, or anything like it," Levy said, adding Spielberg's trip to the Communist-ruled island had been authorized as a cultural exchange by the U.S. government.
Spielberg spent four days in Cuba, launching a showcase of eight of his movies, meeting with Cuban filmmakers and paying visits to Havana's largest synagogue and a memorial to Holocaust victims at the city's Jewish cemetery.
The Oscar-winning director of "Saving Private Ryan" and "Schindler's List" also dined with Fidel Castro, spending about eight hours with the Cuban leader discussing art, politics and history.
During his trip, Spielberg made headlines by calling for an end to the 40-year-old U.S. trade embargo against Cuba, saying it was time to bury old grudges from the Cold War and expand interactions between Americans and Cubans.

Seven hours or eight hours doesn't change the fact that Spielberg is a stooge for Castro. I'm glad to see Robert Duvall had the courage to denounce one of the most powerful directors in Hollywood. It likely cost him acting parts, but at least he told the truth.

Did I say it was racist? Most people would be able to see a particular demographic in his supporters. Assuming you can see it, but just chose not to acknowledge it, how do you explain it?
You know, you have quite the reputation for coming on the board and slinging personal insults to members. Let's see; I can think of two different threads where you have attempted to attck my character just today. The thing is, I doubt anyone buys it, so it's not only immature but ineffective as well.

I haven't been on ina while (not that anyone misses me) but just as soon as I come on I see Abbey bullying some piss ass liberal around again.
I always liked Alan Keys. Of course, that would be in direct conflict to the point Hagbard Celine was trying to make about conservatives supporting white candidates.
In response to the point (if it was a point) that he or she or whatever was trying to make, white conservatives do by virtue of odds usually support white candidates because 82% of the party is white, dah! Our roots culturally are more God oriented, our history goes back a wee little bit furthur here than "others" and conservatives have the more accurately aligned platform that is condusive with our beliefs. Wa-Lah, we vote conservative. Now I must say it is most impressive to see a black agree with that philosophy, drop the chip off their shoulder and contribute to a better cause. When they do, they seem to be a bit more controversial by proxy. It takes courage to stand for what is right. That is C>O>U>R>A>G>E. Just so you know.
Alan Keys, Larry Elder, Ken Hamlin, there have been many right sided talk show hosts who have reached many with their message at great risk to themselves. They are heros to me just like the soldiers who fight on the battlefield.
Abbey, take it easy on em!

That's not real surprising. But I am amazed that a lot of Hispanic Celeberties arn't backing Richardson. I also was surprised to see people donating(sometime the max) to multiple candidates, to me that kinda defeats the purpose in the promaries as they are only really spending money to fight eachother. Thats like donating money to two countries that are at war with eachother, makes no sense, but that is Liberal Mentality for you. :laugh2:
