Hoping and praying NT and everyone else is OK out there.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A magnitude-6.8 earthquake knocked items off shelves and walls in south-central Alaska and jolted the nerves of residents in this earthquake-prone region, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
The earthquake struck about 1:30 a.m. Alaska time and was centered 53 miles west of Anchor Point and 160 miles southwest of Anchorage, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. In its initial report, the agency had classified the earthquake as a magnitude-7.1 event.

I slept right through it. Didn't even know we'd had one until Sharon texted me from NC to ask if everything was okay... lol.
Anchor Point is right outside of Homer, not that far away.
We get earthquakes all the time, not a big deal.

Can you imagine coming around the corner and seeing that ahead with no possibility of stopping in time? I'd be hard pressed to decide to jump for it or ride it out!

Glad all is well NT, except your well that is  but that I( am sure will straighten out in a day or so. I have read that y'all get earthquakes out there daily, but most aren't even felt but this sounded like a pretty good one. Glad all is well.
