Well, I think I've gone and outdone myself this time. I was just hired as a 'research specialist' at a huge law firm. Personally, I think the job description sounds more like 'file clerk', but for double what I was making plus full benefits (yes I'm bragging) they can call me just about anything they bloody well want!


I should also add that I was invited for an interview last Thursday (interviewed Tuesday the 10th), then lost the job I had the next day (Friday). There were others laid off Friday and we knew it was coming, but talk about timing! Thankfully, I was given a nice little severance package, but still.....I was sweating a bit!

Now that I'm done bragging, I think I'll go pat myself on the back! :laugh2:

Thanks for the well wishes. And to think, I almost didn't go to the interview because I showed up Monday afternooon instead of Tuesday. Doh!
