Here we have two beautiful women. Although I find Charlize Theron (top) to be infinitely prettier than the other, perhaps some people find the brown-eyed woman to be equally, or even more, pretty. Should I challenge someone else's opinion of beauty just because he/she doesn't agree with me?

I have been thinking about this very issue when it comes to conservatism. There are people on this forum who consider themselves to be conservative, yet I imply they are not simply because their brand of conservatism doesn't agree with my brand. There is even one person here that doesn't find me to be conservative at all.
I apologize to Kathianne and maybe others who have been annoyed by my posts that imply that maybe they are not conservative.

Those two would be a near toss-up, but I favor the eyes on the top one.

I believe Perianne is saying she thinks that Conservatism, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.

I believe I'd disagree with that, because it then gives latitude for anyone not deserving to be considered as a Conservative to nonetheless claim to be.
You have to draw the line somewhere.
It may be that Conservatism is applied differently, to meet differing circumstances (since, after all, Conservatism is highly practical). Even so, there is a core to the belief that needs to be preserved .. even IF that's only done (?) by measurement of its worth against all opposing political philosophies.

What, no pictures of black, asian, or redheaded women? You must be racist.
